Lee Harvey Oswald Coffin Among Kennedy Assassin Memorabilia Up For Auction

From DATELINE ZERO – Among the other grisly artifacts being offered at the Dec 16 auction:

* A bloodstained piece of the leather car seat that President Kennedy was sitting on when he was fatally shot as he rode through Dallas in a motorcade on Nov. 22, 1963,

* Forceps and other medical instruments that were used to embalm Oswald and the porcelain table — “in very good, working condition” — on which his body lay at the funeral home,

* The funeral service order, showing that the casket cost $300 and the entire funeral ran $710. It is marked, “Paid in full by brother Robert.”

* The funeral home’s logbook, with the notation “This is the accused killer of President John F. Kennedy” next to Oswald’s name,

* The first, handwritten draft of Oswald’s death certificate, signed by Robert Oswald.

The Nate D. Sanders auction house said that certificate had to be redone because it listed the cause of death as “shot by Jack Rubenstein,” the real name of Dallas nightclub owner Jack Ruby.
