Law Approves Husbands Having Sex With Dead Wives--Rush Limbaugh Outraged Because Wives Don't Get Same Rights

A reported move to allow Egyptian men to have a “last chance” at sex with their dead wives’ corpses has sparked outrage in the Islamic nation.

Alleged proposals to allow Egyptian husbands to legally have sex with their dead wives for up to six hours after their death have been branded a ‘complete nonsense’.

The controversial new ‘farewell intercourse’ law was claimed, in Arab media, to be part of a raft of measures being introduced by the Islamist-dominated parliament.   readmore

The move has sparked major outrage, mainly among Egyptian women, who have called it ‘catastrophic.’.

Egypt’s Islamist-dominated parliament is set to introduce a law allowing husbands to have sex with their dead wives up to six hours after death. Critics fear it highlights a trend of increasingly anti-female legislation since the Arab Spring.

The “farewell Intercourse” bill was inspired by a Fatwa issued by a Moroccan cleric last year. Zamzami Abdul Bar said that since the two would meet in Heaven again anyway, death shouldn’t get in the way of one last post-mortem marital romp.  

Critics have slammed the law as “catastrophic.” Prominent journalist and TV host Jaber al-Qarmouty used his program on Tuesday to lash out at the proposed law. readmore
