Police Announce Plans To Weaponize Drones Flying Over US Skies

2 months after the NDAA authorized the deployment of 30,000 drones over US skies police announce plans to weaponize them to attack people.

After the United States congress turned a deaf ear on the American public and passed the NDAA it took a little more than a month for the bill to be interpreted as an authorization to deploy a fleet 30,000 of remotely controlled aircraft, commonly called drones and used to conduct assassinations overseas, into U.S. skies.

Now police are have announced they are considering plans to arm remotely controlled aircraft with ‘less than lethal weapons’ such as tear gas, tasers and rubber bullets.

Despite promises the 2012 NDAA did not apply to military operations on U.S. soil or against American Citizens, a massive military drone deployment into U.S airspace has been approved by Congress.

Despite all of the concerns regarding the language of the NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) for fiscal year 2012 our beloved politicians once again turned a deaf to the American people and the atrocious bill was pushed into law.

We now learn that of the NDAA is being interpreted as authorization to deploy military drones (unmanned aerial vehicles or UAVs) into United States airspace in the latest escalation of U.S. military actions in the War of Terror. To support the deployment a massive overhaul of the FAA control system is underway.

NDAA TROJAN UNLEASHED – MASSIVE US DRONE DEPLOYMENT OVER US SKIES

The Congressional Record makes it clear the act will deploy military drones controlled by NASA and the DOJ under authorization contained with the 2012 NDAA. The deployment of the military drones will be rolled out following the establishment test ranges to develop the system needed to integrate military drones into the U.S Airspace System.

As I went on to warn in that post early versions of the legislation referred to deploying the “military” and “public” unmanned aircraft into the national airspace system.

The final version replaced the world military with the word civil and authorized the integration of civil unmanned aircraft into the national airspace system.

Soon after the authorization came the government lost a lawsuit and was forced to reveal the location of 63 top-secret killer drone bases already operating inside the United States.

The has since been coupled with news that police have already received trained to operate the fleet.

Now CBS news reports that police are now considering plans to weaponize the drones that will be flying over U.S. skies.

Groups Concerned Over Arming Of Domestic Drones

With the use of domestic drones increasing, concern has not just come up over privacy issues, but also over the potential use of lethal force by the unmanned aircraft.Drones have been used overseas to target and kill high-level terror leaders and are also being used along the U.S.-Mexico border in the battle against illegal immigration. But now, these drones are starting to be used domestically at an increasing rate.

Chief Deputy Randy McDaniel of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office in Texas told The Daily that his department is considering using rubber bullets and tear gas on its drone.

“Those are things that law enforcement utilizes day in and day out and in certain situations it might be advantageous to have this type of system on the UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle),” McDaniel told The Daily.

The use of potential force from drones has raised the ire of the American Civil Liberties Union.

McDaniel says that his community should not be worried about the department using a drone.

“We’ve never gone into surveillance for sake of surveillance unless there is criminal activity afoot,” McDaniel told The Daily. “Just to see what you’re doing in your backyard pool — we don’t care.”

But the concern for the ACLU is just too great that an American’s constitutional rights will be trampled with the use of drones.

“The prospect of people out in public being Tased or targeted by force by flying drones where no officers is physically present on the scene,” Crump says, “raises the prospect of unconstitutional force being used on individuals.”

McDaniel claims the community should not be worried about the use of drones for spying on them claiming the “We’ve never gone into surveillance for sake of surveillance unless there is criminal activity afoot.”

Of course, nothing could be further from the truth. We know now the government has engaged in massive spying operations on the entire public under the Patriot Act and through FISA requests.. We also know the government has conducted widespread surveillance on entire groups including Muslims across the entire Northeast U.S., nationwide monitoring of the entire Occupy movement and a long list of other activists and groups that by no involved in criminal activity.

Furthermore, he two different Cyber Security bills being pushed through congress will authorize the government to intercept every single digital communication – be it Google search, a text message, an email, a skype of VOIP phone call or an activity on a social networking site like Facebook or Twitter – and feed it to the NSA’s $2 billion quantum computing data center in Utah.

Of course this news comes as Fox News has warned the government will soon use these drones to conduct assassinations of U.S. Citizens. (Well the government is already doing that – so to be clear assassinations of U.S. citizens inside the United States).

News of the appointment follows revelations that the CIA is uses ‘so-called’ signatures of terrorist activity (such as walking with a group of 5-10 people in an area of known militant activity) to bomb entire groups of people without even knowing who they are.

If you think for even a minute this will not soon happen on U.S. soil, you only need look at the past decade as the U.S. government has slowly redirected their so-called ‘anti-terrorism policies’ from overseas enemies toward U.S. citizens on American soil. Torture, indefinite detention without charge, no right to a lawyer, no right to see a judge, no right to a trial, freedom of press suppressed by the NDAA, freedom to protest being legalized and facing brutal crackdowns, U.S. citizens being thrown in jail for engaging in Free Speech activities such as uploading videos to YouTube, U.S. citizens being targeted for assassination with no trial, no judge, no jury just straight to execution, an armada of drones which conduct assassinations overseas are coming home and being further weaponized so they can be pointed at us. This all comes as Uncle Sam aims his multibillion dollar spy network at U.S. citizens while being given the power to intercept all our communications to use to engage in preemptive raids and crackdowns for ‘thought crimes’ while the FBI continues to frame Americans for their terror plots and Cops continue to go unpunished for egregious misconduct and police brutality that often results in the death of an innocent person. Meanwhile, the government official and the elite have launched a campaign of economic, financial, environmental and physical warfare are excluded from punishment by an evermore obvious two-tiered judicial system that has been authorized by a system of crony capitalism on both sides of the aisle where our politicians and bureaucrats are now owned by corporations, special interest groups and lobbyists to the point our nation is no longer even a capitalist society – it is a fascist oligarchical corporatist totalitarian dictatorship.
