The original Batmobile went under the hammer for the first time — 47 years after its designer built it from an old Lincoln Futura he bought for $1 — and has sold an eye-popping $4.6 million
Car customizer George Barris transformed the banger into the sleek black vehicle that starred in the legendary film and TV series in 1966.
Now the 87-year-old, who has owned it ever since, has sold the caped crusader’s company car – which he calls the ‘most valuable car in the world,’ at an Arizona auction house.
What an awesome car it is indeed. He earned all that profit he made on this car!The only ones who can make more profit than this, is the unconstitutional federal reserve that prints printing money out of thin air, only costing them the ink and paper.

if you want to cry about the federal reserve, fine,.. but leave barris alone, he bought the car legally from ford for a dollar, THEN invested 15k which at the time was a monstrous amount of money for a ford or most any car of the day.. now sells it for 4.6 m..
if you could have done it you would have, now stop being a jealous bish!
Didn’t sound to me like Barracuda was being jealous at all; in fact, his exact words are:
“He earned all that profit he made on this car!”
Now does the Federal Reserve deserve a bit of a ‘spanking’ for how they ‘create’ their money out of thin air? Of course they do and they’re being exposed for what they are. In good time…
Nice earn on the car
What’s the thread about again? Oh yeah; bumkin……… i mean banking.
Something about the unconscionable Fed wasn’t it?
Bump!
