The mission of the Ravalli County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) goes far beyond carrying out the statutory obligations and traditional duties of a sheriff’s office. They are dedicated to keeping your community as safe as possible. Our philosophy at the RCSO is to treat our citizens and visitors the way we would want our own families treated.
Ravalli County continues to be one of the fastest growing counties in the state of Montana. As such, we face many challenges as we try to keep pace with this growth. Our pledge to this community is that we are up to the task, and we will use every available resource to continue providing the best service possible.

The government fear is that you will be organised and believe in local Laws and law enforcement officers. If they can break that spirit you are finished.

THIS STORY HAS BEEN PROVEN FALSE:
This from a friend: I spoke to Sheriff Chris Hoffman on Tuesday, Feb 26, 2013 to verify the information I received and incorrectly published concerning “FEDERAL AGENTS THREATEN DULY ELECTED SHERIFF IF HE REFUSES TO DISARM HIS COUNTY.”
Sheriff Hoffman told me that his phone was ringing off the hook and was swamped with emails as a result. He assured me that this information was completely false, he didn’t know who started this rumor and wanted to assure me that at no time has he or any of his deputies been threatened by anyone.
The only thing false is to accept a False Sense of Security.
An East Coast state discussed disolving the sheriff’s.
The real point of our post and we stand by it – is to start getting organised against any and all.
The wording should be – Over Our Dead Bodies – which may be the end truth.

So the truth be damned. The story is a plant and you want to move ahead as if it were true. You are being played and falling into the hands of the people that are truly in control. They do not have your interests at heart. They are playing on your emotions and false patriotism . How do you think it looks to the rest of the country when you go ahead with your plan even though the story is a lie. You lose all credibility.
The real point is credibility! These type of unsubstantiated stories that are easily disproven call into question the motives of the OP. This makes life easier for the government trolls if the OP isn’t already one.
American Patriots and your average law-abiding citizen will ALWAYS support and defende the county sheriff before they will support the anti-U.S. Constitutional activities of the city, state or federal governments. State’s rights are insured by county rights. You cannot have one without the other. The duly elected County Sheriff is the 2nd most powerful to the U.S. Constitution and The Bill of Rights.
Sheriffs need to raise local posses to protect their constituents. So the feds would have to face everyone in the county, not just the sheriff.

sadly the sheriff here in pima county is a douche and has been neck deep up obama’s posterior for going on 5 years!
