it is the willingness and intent to be lazy which is bringing the judgement the tyranny on the western world. Sloth is a deadly sin and one of the sins of this age is this mental form of slothness. this is a willing state which is why we who are awake as we call it shake our heads in amazement at these people, what we dont understand is they are not stupid, they are not dumb they choose to be ignorant they choose not to think because to do so means they have to have a social responsibility even if they dont do anything being aware and concerned is being responsible. the bible says with much knowledge comes much sorrow. No wonder we live in the Prozac generation THESE WILLINGLY IGNORANT MASSES know fine rightly what is going on they can see it but in their subconscious mind they have chosen to believe a lie because it means they can live on this earth a little while longer in what they think is ignorant bliss but is actually willfull ignorance. They dont want to believe the truth and this means they know its the truth but they reject it. JESUS SAID HE WAS THE TRUTH, the root of the problem is spiritual. In the same way Jonah was sleeping in the bowels of the ship while a storm raged outside with the sailors above terrified these people can hear the roaring waves, they can feel the ship moving violently but they choose to sleep in slothful slumber. If you ever tried to wake a lazy person up who wants to stay in bed and wont get up they sleep all day and come out in the afternoon when it starts to get dark stay up half the night watching television and then go back to bed in the early hours. the cycle repeats until the person ends up middle aged overweight, depressed and sick he-she still living with his parents, That’s a good definition of America throw in prescribed drugs for depression which usually follows such a state and voila. You cannot say that at all. (with any integrity of intellect). There was a creation. It is called by you a ‘myth’. Whether people get the creation right or not is their own problem, including the ones who wrote the Enuma Elish. Their writing one down at the time 2000 years ‘before Genesis’ as you say, implying that they were the source of the truth, or the account, or knew better than the writer/s of Genesis, does not mean that they are more correct, have more truth, or are more accurate in the ‘myth’ as you call it; the accounts have similarities, but that does not mean that the account in Genesis was ‘stolen’ from the Enuma Elish; it simply means that there was some knowledge, or a belief, in the earth, from the earliest days of recroded history.
You utterly discounted the fact that there are prophets who may come after a bunch of bullcrap that has been taught for millennia, to CORRECT those accounts.
Why did you discount this fact? Do you not believe that there is a Higher Spirit, Who convenes and communes with say, men, who then teach what that spirit told them, and eventually write that information down? Are you discounting this phenomenon?
I believe differently than you do, obviously, but I feel that in Genesis there are many things that we have not been aware of, and the Enuma Elish is not the more correct account just because it was ‘earlier’ written by a group of people.
There was a false messiah created by an enemy of Yah WAY BEFORE the Messiah of Yah was sent to earth to be born. Does that make the first one more authentic than the one who came later, in Yah’s name?
