The national guard is the states emergency help as well and ha been for as long as I can remember. Yeah it’s bad with FEMA there but that NG has always been around in these situations because that’s one of their actual duties to actually help the state in time of need
Also you shouldn’t be scared of the NG they only train once a month and there are only a few actual real soldiers in NG who transferred from active duty but when your dealing with NG in this situation your most likely dealing with POGS us infantry soldiers term for non combat military personal who think the are the bees knees but really are not.
