My Spirit cannot BE Contained...

It’s Springtime here in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.  We’ve had rain to quench the thirst of drought for a minute.  It’s green and the temperature is a mild 75 degrees.  Perfect weather, Perfect day!

I couldn’t stay inside today.  I find it harder and harder in fact.  The Mr. was out in the yard this morning and when he came back he said “I can’t stay here today” and I agreed wholeheartedly!    I’m finding it close to impossible to stay in any kind of “3D” at all.  It’s exhausting.  I’ve watched my “ego” die a slow death and I AM Grateful but where to from here?  I Honestly can’t wait to find out!  But in the meantime…

Today we drove to the lake and sat on a log and talked.  We became “official” birdwatchers and marveled at them all.  We saw a Red-winged Blackbird and couldn’t take our eyes off him as he swayed gently on the tip of a cottontail over the water.  He teaches Balance.

We sat on our wolf blanket and ate lunch and skipped rocks in the lake under the shade of a tree.  I laid down and saw the sunlight shimmering through the leaves of the Aspen trees.  They teach connectedness and ONEness as their roots are all intertwined with one another.  They teach Harmony.

We walked back the way we came picking up trash along the way trying not to get “angry” and glad to be of Service.  We walked through the meadow and saw a butterfly who teased us mercilessly as she buzzed us like an airplane buzzing a control tower.  I chased her through the meadow like a child full of Wonder and Curiosity all just to get a glimpse of her colorful wings.  She is a Mourning Cloak and teaches not to take things too seriously and to find time to play with Mother Gaia.

Of course we stopped by the River on the way back.  There cannot be a River nearby without me wanting to be close to it.  I Love everything about the River.  I just wrote about it so I won’t reiterate other than to say she teaches us to let go and let Gaia.

My Spirit cannot be contained inside.  It cannot be contained in “the matrix”.  I Feel like an alien dropped into a Magical place where there is a form of “insanity” that has taken over its occupants.  I wonder what the real aliens would think if they saw how much we take for granted and  how much we’ve forgotten to appreciate.  There is a great education available to ALL on Mother Gaia who chose to Stop, Look, and Listen.  It’s always Free and Priceless, just like Life.  I want to throw all theprice tags off the planet and begin to Truly Live my Life as it was meant to be Lived.  I would flit here and there like the butterfly somedays or find Balance like the Red-winged Blackbird or seek Harmony with Humanity like the Aspen tree.  Everyday can be something New and Fresh to behold.  There is so much to explore and experience, see and do, feel and learn.  It is Endless.  It is Real.  I want to be there all the time.  My Spirit cannot be contained…
