It wants its Mommy!!!
I think you mean: Mummy …
I wanna touch it!
A magnetic attraction to the position of the Death Moon/Star circling our planet? … or the constellation of Orion?
low frequency vibration, needs measuring equipment placed on floor synchronised with camera ( seismic recorder) but then they would not get the publicity for the place… or maybe a large piece of blue tack on the bottom of statue (grin)
Its an indicator that the Poles are shifting….watch the video carefully and notice its rotation.
Lol…..funny stuff posted on this site!
Velcro!
If you notice closely, it only moves during daylight, and the frames are run so fast in the video that each small move is done by someone at the museum. Look closely, there is someone next to it slightly moving it each time….but only in daylight when the museum is open. Obviously a ruse.
A “ruse” that can cruise. -(Z-Boy).
And yet no word on what it’s turned to look at? What direction is it pointing?
Yes and they are going to kick someone’s butt….
They are coming to finally once again to make humans more intel, moral (again), and take out the meanie in all of us.
Better be good!
If its facing “EAST” by default, then you may have a problem….. more than likely a serious one, since the sun… well you already know the navigational charts, but try mapping the Easter islands to Nazca to rising Sun, you might see a connection, connect the dots.
Mooo…………………………..
HOAX. This is Egyptian tourism propaganda. Jon Stewart did some Egyptian tourism propaganda recently. Egypt murdered their protester movement in jail 1 by 1. Then they began murdering the homeless children of the dead protesters. Now they’re looking to get back into hosting foreign nationals to spend money there. So they make a video of an Egyptian relic in a museum and they pay people to nudge the statute around in a semi circle which on time lapse video makes it appear to be a mysterious magical statue, to inspire people to attend Egypt to witness first hand the magic of Egypt. Then they post this time lapse video to youtube as a viral marketing video to convince people to fly to Egypt to spend dollars there so the murderous government can tax those dollars out of the economy and spend it on fuel for the F16 fighter jets Obama gifted to Baby Butcher Egyptian President Islamic Brotherhood Goon Mohamed Morsi.
So why doesn’t someone just change it from where it is placed? If it happens then there would be a reason to freak out, otherwise it may just have to do with vibrations or the angle of the shelf where it is placed which is making the statue move.
It only turns when it’s daylight and there are people near it. I would think it pretty obvious, but either it is traffic vibrations (seems to really get moving in the morning) or it’s the vibrations of the people themselves who are walking around. A sensible thing to do would be to either move it to a quiet room and see if it happens again, or velcro it down like the other pieces.
I used to work in a place that bought and sold art pieces of historical significance. We had this mask from Zaire that a Chicago client bought for just over $21,000 dollars and he would fly down the following week to pick it up. When he finally came, I was sent up into the attic wearhouse to retrieve it and it wasn’t there. It just disappeared. It was just me and two other employees that day and so we called the owner of the business. The client went back to his hotel and agreed to come back the following day. Later that afternoon, the business owner showed up and we took him up to the attic (which warehoused sold and newly arrived high-priced items) and it was right on the shelf where it was supposed to be. We immediately called the client who made his way down there that day and the mask was gone again. This time the owner was there and he confirmed that the mask had just disappeared without anyone else going up there to the attic. Then, all of the sudden, the business owner said “sorry, no sale”, gave the buyer his money back and ordered us not to sell the mask. The client was angry, and rightly so. He had flown down to New Orleans from Chicago for the sole purpose of picking up this mask that he had already purchased. To this day, I cannot explain what happened. I’m not a believer in the paranormal, but this incident has left me completely stumped. The business owner, didn’t seem perplexed or angry that he essentially missed out on a $21k deal (about a $15k profit from my estimation). I’m hesitant to call it supernatural, but I can’t rule it out either.
Traffic vibration is causing this.
It turns heavily at the start and stops when it has turned about 180 so the base is most likely not flat and the case / floor is not even either, so the vibrations cause it to turn to its natural position which in this case is backwards.
So yeah vibrations from traffic most likely.
editedto make it look like it was moving on it’s own
This thing is behind sealed glass. The Daily Mail is also reporting on this. This is supposedly “the god of death” and from what I can tell, this may very well be a good reason to be vigilant.
Here is the Daily Mail news article about it: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2346758/Ancient-Egyptian-statue-started-MOVING-sparking-fears-struck-curse-Pharaohs.html#ixzz2X3pes9Up
it might be magic you buncha idiots!
must have a demon in it or some kind of black magic at work or just a school boy hoax?
First this needs to be filmed with a real video camera and not a timelapse. There is clearly a long time between frames, as in several minutes, and some hoaxster is probably just making a stop motion video to amuse themselves.
THE curse of Tutankhamen is said to have claimed more than 20 lives. By contrast, the curse of Neb-Senu amounts to little more than an occasional inconvenience for museum curators.
Over several days, the ten-inch Egyptian statuette gradually rotates to face the rear of the locked glass cabinet in which it is displayed, and has to be turned around again by hand.
Those who like tales of haunted pyramids and walking mummies may regard the mystery of the 4,000-year-old relic – an offering to Osiris, god of the dead – as the strangest thing to hit Egyptology in decades.
Others, including TV physicist Professor Brian Cox, have a more down-to-earth explanation for its movement.
Whatever the solution, the puzzle certainly won’t dent visitor numbers at its present home, Manchester Museum.
The statuette’s slow about-turn has been captured on film by a time-lapse camera, and curator Campbell Price, 29, says he believes there may be a spiritual explanation.
‘I noticed one day that it had turned around,’ he said. ‘I thought it was strange because it is in a case and I am the only one who has a key.
‘I put it back, but then the next day it had moved again.
‘In Ancient Egypt they believed that if the mummy is destroyed then the statuette can act as an alternative vessel for the spirit. Maybe that is what is causing the movement.’
The statue, made by one Neb-Senu in about 1800BC, was donated to the museum in 1933, and had been reassuringly immobile for most of that time.
However Mr Price and his colleagues are now used to finding it facing the rear of its case – perhaps significantly, displaying a prayer on the back requesting ‘bread, beer, oxen and fowl’.

I saw it give me the finger!
Did they figure out the direction It was facing?
Okay…it wants buffalo wings, a cheeseburger, and a beer. C’mon, read the back! Give it the place of honor in a sports bar, and everything’ll be all right!
Cute way to drum up press attention for a museum, but they already said it was about the friction between the stone and the glass shelf, and the vibration from traffic.
