I don’t buy it. Assad has Sarin. It’s not that easy to make, store, or procure, or terrorists would have used it already. So far, it has only been possessed by nations, not ragtag groups. I think this is hokum. Assad is a monster and needs to die.
I’m not a Sarin expert however the other Hussein had a supply which went to Syria. I don’t know who has possession of it. Does anyone?
Im sure any weapons like that in the hands of the terrorists… oh i mean “rebels” came from the Western coalition… or we at least helped move along the process of them acquiring it.

Tell all of that to the Al Nusra terrorists picked up by Turkish police two weeks ago. They had a couple of KGs of sarin on them, and were headed into Syria. Or find out for yourself. Sarin was invented by the Germans in the 1930s. It is dangerous for the layperson to make or work with, but does not require any special ingredients that are not commercially available.
The rebels are American funded Saudis and so on. Their leaders only speak classical Arabic.

When in the military we had nerve gas in Germany (was supposed to be against the law). It was to be used not so much to kill as to deny the enemy the ground, city or open country.
What has been disclosed does not correspond to good military use. How it was it used does lead me to believe that is released by terrorist forces.

I love how they always bring up that we never found WMDs in Iraq. The United Nations gave Sadaam Hussein over 6 months to get rid of them. He under estimated President G.W. Bush’s resolve. I agree that attacking Iraq was a huge mistake logistically but to dethrone that tyrant couldn’t hurt. Those same weapons that are now in Syria are most likely Husseins. Syria has never produced chemical weapons. With that said, where did they get them? I would bet a zillion that they came from Iraq.

Assad would have no reason to use gas, furthermore, he would be a fool to so so. He has the upper hand in the conflict using only his vast array of conventional weaponry. The rebles, however, are another story. Let’s look at the facts….President Obama indicated that the use of gas would cross his so-called “red line.” The rebles need assistance from the UN and particularily from the USA. So if you’re a rebel, what would be the fastest way to get the assistance you need? Of course, use Sarin on a limited basis, blame the assad regeim (with the assistance of American war hawks), and wait for the calvery to arrive. Folks, I encourage you to think critically about what you see on the news these days…..things are not as they seem.
Pre-Bengazi, these weapons were shipped to the rebels and the conjecture was that they were to be used by them to set up blame on the administration. When the evidence of use appeared, Israeli sources reported it was done by the rebels.
Where are the news investigators. I remember reading this in several editorials that appeared to be reliable.
