How’s the land erosion problem going other there mate? We’d send you a case of water or something but I know you’ve got all you need, right? Don’t worry, if you keep losing what little arable land you have, you can live off the swarms of cane toads and blind kangaroos.

I was in the process of paying my vehicle registration, and I too was arrested. They perp walked me out to the corridor, slammed me up against the glass, and when I again asserted that all I wanted to do was register my vehicle, they slapped me in cuffs and arrested me. The charge?
Criminal Trespass. They state I was causing a disturbance by asking questions about the registration. My situation was also on PUBLIC property. In fact, I was required to be there to pay taxes, yet somehow I was instructed to leave, and then charged. I must now pay a fine of $160.
If you are interested, I am going to pay the fine, wait the 90 days required to annul the charge, then either file a small claim, or sue for wrongful arrest.
This happened in Fort Worth Texas.
The officers knew the charge is bogus, but the judges will not listen to anyone but them. Everyone else lies.
Glad you stood your ground. As did I, nothing worthwhile is free. We will see who it costs in the long run.

Granted, it wasn’t illegal for this video to be shot while we were training. You have every right to do so. No one should have been arrested for filming us. But, while everyone is screaming about “wrongful prosecution” – has anyone stopped to think about OPSEC? This video has been posted and our enemies can now see how soldiers are being trained. The “coolness” of what we do should never out weigh our safety to do it. I’m not trying to start a fight online, that’s ridiculous, I’m just pointing out another side. When those documents were leaked from PFC Manning, Military CI’s in Afghanistan were killed. Some were forced to leave their families and move to other countries or end up dead. Units had to completely retrain with new ways to combat the enemy bc our “more sensitive tactics” were now common knowledge and we no longer had the “element of surprise”. So, when you see us out there training, it may look cool, and – it is fun on a certain level – but, it’s serious business for us. What if we need to use it in your town to save you? What if it’s a loved one on a team to help rescue your town? You’ve just given an enemy part of our play book; now, what if we can’t save you? So yes, it was legal. But sometimes legality doesn’t make it ok all around. Just something to think about next time….thanks

Well said and I undersand your argument about Ops Sec, however Ops Sec is just one detail in a MUCH bigger issue here. It comes down to the truth that the citizenry have had their trust betrayed over and over again, and we are understandably out of trust. We’ve done quite nicely over the last two centuries or so without military help within our borders. The exceptions to that tradition speak for the necessity for that prohibition. The Great Constitution of the United States of America makes it crystal clear that it is a document drafted to protect the American public from it’s own government (that would be you).

11. The Civil Rights Movement being hijacked from a dialogue over rights to an us-verses-them battle of attrition. We can see today that the side that needed a hand up lost that struggle.

This video was shot in the parking lot of Eastland Mall in Charlotte, NC. There are no foreign troops unless you count the de facto gob’ment foreign, which they kind of are….
Up until the badass badge showed up what you were seeing was a bunch of disorganized troops kneeling here and there in a shut down mall parking lot. I can see why the military types wouldn’t want it recorded so they called in the overzealous and uniformed city badge man who makes a mess of things.
