Michael Hastings: DARPA Can Take Control Of Moving Cars!

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Michael Hastings was the victim of a state sanctioned assassination.

He was working on the biggest story of his career.. He had to be silenced..

In his book, The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America’s War in Afghanistan, Michael Hastings recalled the incident.

“We’ll hunt you down and kill you if we don’t like what you write,” the staffer threatened, according to Hastings, who responded: “Well, I get death threats like that about once a year, so no worries.”

DARPA has the capability to take over a moving car remotely.

This is how it was done:

Still in doubt?

Here’s another example:

Ashley W. Turton: Energy Lobbyist, Wife of Key White House Aide, Dies in Fire:

The wife of a key White House aide was found dead early Monday in a sport-utility vehicle that was heavily damaged by fire in the garage of the couple’s Capitol Hill home, sources familiar with the incident said. The cause of her death is uncertain.

Ashley W. Turton, 37, an energy company lobbyist and one-time top aide to former U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.), was found dead shortly before 5 a.m. in a burning BMW, the back end of which was partly out of the garage, as if the vehicle had been entering or leaving when the fire started, authorities said Turton was the wife of Daniel A. Turton, 43, the White House’s deputy director of legislative affairs for the U.S. House. As such, he is President Obama’s point man on legislation moving through the House.

He and Ashley Turton, who have three children, were a Washington power couple well known in Democratic circles. She was a lobbyist for North Carolina-based Progress Energy, which announced a merger Monday with Duke Energy.

Pretty creepy and scary, huh? You’re not even safe in your car!

blast a guy with his airbag at 65 mph, open his seat belt ~ then throw it in reverse.

Just think of what DARPA (or whoever) can do to all the ELECTRONICS IN YOUR HOME using a SMART METER.

The Smart Meter measures your second-by-second electrical use because it is a radiofrequency-controlled computer complete with motherboard, Zigbee chip, motherboard, flash memory, etc. It is remotely controlled and programmed by the utility. You can steer it like a car but someone else can remotely take over at ANY TIME due to the cellular antennas (2.45 Ghz and 900 Mhz).

DO NOT ALLOW A SMART METER ON YOUR HOME!

How about that toyota that just took off with its occupants back when our car company’s were going bankrupt . They fined toyota and recalled a lot of cars if i were toyota i think i would look into this.Who would benefit from a runaway toyota well our car company’s of course. And our government bailed them out and took stock in the general motors corp. So who gains if the stock goes up the government who just happens to fund darpa.

Great find and share on this video, this is something everyone needs to be aware of. I am an auto tech and felt compelled to sign up at Before its News to try writing a story in the hopes of more people becoming aware of the real ability and dangers of newer autos being hacked. (That was months before Micheal Hastings crashed.) My story was lousy but I am not a writer, hopefully this topic is picked up and makes some headlines with serious followup before anyone else can become a victim.

it’s funny that a lot of people are realizing that cars can be easily hacked but I haven’t heard about trains. With the amount of trains crashing lately, I say there’s a possibility of hacking. The crash in Quebec was already with a remote-controlled wagon. If a car is hackable, a train is too. But I haven’t heard that theory yet? Why? Is it because people still associate trains with old technology?
