This coming from the man who helped get the Shah of Iran thrown out of Iran. The Shah, while no Angel, was friendly to the West. That led to the mess that’s there now.
After all the national media circus, no one ever asked why George Zimmerman, who had professional training, went for a kill shot to the heart rather than a less serious wound anywhere else on the torso, which would have stopped the altercation without causing death.
It took more time and effort to raise the gun higher for a kill-shot to the heart. He knew he had to prevent a different story from coming out.
Zimmerman was the only one who knew he had the advantage with a gun and that the police were on the way. The prosecution was woefully incompetent.
Wonkadelica – you’re obviously not familiar with firearms and believe all that you see in movies and on TV. Let me educate you on the matter…
In order to aim a gun you have to line up the rear sight with the front sight – the sights are located on the top of the gun.
To be able to line up the sights you have to bring the gun up to eye level.
To bring the gun up to eye level you have to be able to raise your arms and extended them straight out.
With a large thug on top of you none of this is at all possible. The best you can do is pull the gun from your holster and point your wrist in the general direction of your attacker.
Zimmerman could have just as easily hit 0bama jr in the thigh or the shoulder. He was completely pinned down and unable to aim while his head was being smashed into the sidewalk.

Thanks for making my point. So it was just a lucky shot? It was much easier to hit him in the gut, which would not have been fatal. Like you said, he was supposedly pinned down by his own account. So ho was he able to raise his gun to chest level? A shot anywhere, even a miss would have given him the immediate advantage once Trayvon realized he had a gun.
It was more important to elimiinate a different story. I do understand firearms. You don’t need precise aim at point blank range of a few inches. How was he able to get within a few inches of his heart if he was being straddled? Incompetent prosecution, like an all white female jury afraid of black men.

People need to realize this is what really happened .. because the prosecution inadvertently set the standard so higPeople need to realize this is what really seemed to have happened .. because the prosecution set the standard of punishment so high, with what the jury was given, they had no other level of guilt to choose from … now rather the prosecution did this deliberately so the outcome would have been what it was … time and Higher judgment will tell … but we have to move on and put good and fair laws in place to help prevent this sort of outcome from ever happening again … there should always be some level of responsibility and punishment for a life lost due to any cause of someone’s own onset of actions …
