Pedophile teacher groomed & raped a 14 year COMMITTED SUICIDE the teacher 30 days prison time

Stacey Dean Rambold will get credit for the one day in jail that he has already served. But beyond that, he still has the better part of a month behind bars.

The charge: Sexual intercourse without consent.

The victim, Cherice Morales was 14 years old.

As the case stalled in the court system, the victim committed suicide. But the judge seems to think that the 49 year old teacher having sex with his 14 year old student it no big deal because she ”seemed older than her chronological age”, and was just “a troubled young girl.”

Not to sound too lenient, Judge G. Todd Baugh handed down a 15 years prison sentence, but he promptly suspended all but 31 days.

“I think this sentence is a joke, a travesty,” the mother, Auliea Hanlon, told CNN on Tuesday night, a day after the sentencing.

“People will lose faith in our justice system. I have.”

The judge argued that the 14 year old was “as much in control of the situation” as the teacher. But obviously she didn’t feel the same way when she committed suicide after the years of what her mother calls ”pre-sexual grooming”.

in a statement released by her attorney,  Hanlon said, “She wasn’t even old enough to get a driver’s license.” And yet “Judge Baugh, who never met our daughter, justified the paltry sentence saying she was older than her chronological age. I guess somehow it makes a rape more acceptable if you blame the victim, even if she was only 14.”
