Alternative Syria Bill Released To Replace Obama War Bill
A preliminary draft of what the United States Congress could pass this week, if sincerely interested in human rights, international norms, the rule of law, and peace in Syria, has been released to the public Saturday morning, to send to Congresspersons as an alternative to Obama’s war plan against Syria .
David Swanson, one of America’s leading human rights defenders, drafted an alternative bill for Congress regarding Syria.
“You are welcome to suggest [this draft resolution] to your Congress members,” Swanson said, adding that they are “more than welcome to tinker with it.”
Swanson suggested, “You might also share it with any friends or uncles or neighbors who demand to know: ’If you’re against missile strikes then what are you in favor of?’”

No Military Solution
Sec. 1
a) The Congress does not authorize military action or support of military action in Syria, and such action by the Central Intelligence Agency and any other agencies of the United States must cease immediately.
b) The United States respects the position of the United Nations Charter and the Kellogg-Briand Pact, under Article VI of the U.S. Constitution, as parts of the Supreme Law of the Land. The United States will not violate these treaties by military action or threat of military action against Syria.
Chemical Weapons
Sec. 2
a) The United States will encourage Syria, as well as Egypt, Israel, Angola, North Korea, and South Sudan to ratify and abide by the Chemical Weapons Convention.
b) The United States will eliminate in the swiftest manner that safety allows the entirety of its own chemical weapons stockpiles, and urge other nations, including Russia, to do the same.
c) The United States will forthwith cease to maintain or make use of as weapons: white phosphorous, depleted uranium, or any form of napalm, and will assist Iraq in its recovery from their use.
d) The Congress urges the president to sign the United States on as a member of the International Criminal Court (ICC).
e) The United States will forward to the UN Security Council and to the prosecutor of the ICC all evidence of violations of the Chemical Weapons Convention.
f) The United States will urge the United Nations to send human rights monitors to Syria.
Humanitarian Aid
Sec. 3
a) The United States will transfer 1% of the current year’s Department of Defense budget to non-military aid programs for Syrian refugees and those suffering as a result of war in Syria and around the world.
De-Escalation
Sec. 4
a) The United States will diplomatically urge Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, Jordan, and all other nations to cease providing arms and ammunition, or funding for arms and ammunition, to fighters in Syria on both sides of the war.
b) The United States will diplomatically urge Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, Jordan, and others involved to urge the Syrian opposition and the Syrian government to establish a cease-fire. The United States will use all available pressure, including ceasing to itself provide arms to nations involved.
c) The United States will work with the international community to bring both sides in the Syrian civil war to a neutral negotiating table, with no pre-conditions.

The problem with this alternative bill is that it is not what the elite wants, it’s what the people want.
But the elite get what they want, they don’t care about the people but rather their New World Order and they are going to do whatever makes it come to pass.
While at it, replace Obama, Biden. McCain, Kerry…, too.
Since this Syrian conflict has been going on for sometime, terrorists trained in Jordan, weapons smuggled from Libya, Saudi Arabia and Qatar heavily investing in these operations with the U.S. to destabilize Syria… a proxy war against Iran and Russia… a question who will dominate resources… the petrodollar… the defense industry: the morality if chemical weapons (any morality!) is small potatoes to these people, a pretext. This is all to say the agenda, which, again, has been going on for sometime, an agenda set near the end of the Bush administration, necessarily means chemical weapons is not really the issue.
The issue is that the Assad is getting the upper hand with the rebels, the terrorist mercenaries of the U.S. and Saudi/Qatar not working out so well, hence a need to use state force to help the rebels in the proxy struggle against Russia-Iran-Iraq, and China, to some extent, a war against their resource development interests in the region.
So, without some recognition what the real agenda is, in the first place, the agenda will continue under some pretext or another. The big business of war the military-industrial complex demands to feed its ever increasing maw, to create war profits, has a strangle hold on Washington, the government in its pocket, as well as oil companies. Nothing is even recognized in the MSM propaganda machine that gets at the root of the problem, so don’t hold your breath for change, since the bastards will continue doing what they’re doing, for whatever pretext or false flag they can create for public consumption: as long as the usual suspects are allowed to operate, nothing will change, and this will destroy the nation.
