Update: S.W.A.T, Team Kills Legally Blind And Deaf 107 Yr Old Man, Mayor Holds Emergency Meeting (Video)
Update 9:21 pm 9/9/13: Just reported that police arrived at 4 pm and killed Monroe at 4:25 pm. They killed Monroe in 25 minutes of their arrival. This was a execution. Not a police response to help a community.
The Mayor of pine bluff is holding a meeting right now 5:00 pm 9-9-13 on the murder of a 107 year old Monroe Isadore, the community of Pine Bluff is up in arms over this killing of a legally Blind, Deaf, 107 year old man.

Family and friends of Monroe Isadore remember him as a kindhearted and deeply religious man.
For more than thirty years, Isadore attended services at New St. Hurricane Missionary Baptist Church in Pine Bluff. Church administrator Bonit Morgan said he was well liked by everyone in the congregation.
“To me, he was a man that loved everybody, and he loved worshiping God. He loved God. And, he would get his praise on at church on Sundays,” she added. “He was a fixture in this community and to this church. Mister Isadore was here for quite a while.”
THV 11 also spoke with Isadore’s longtime friend and neighbor Charles Pointer. Pointer helped fix Isadore’s lawnmower in exchange for fresh vegetables.
“I’ll remember him as a good, old friend,” said Pointer, who lives across from Isadore’s old home on Olive Street. “He was a very good neighbor, and it’s hard for me to understand what happened to him because I know he didn’t mess with anyone.”

The neighbors and friends of Monroe Isadore tried to explain this to the Law Enforcement officers, but they would not listen. The Law Enforcement team here saw a chance for a easy kill and took advantage of the opportunity. Chances are Monroe did not understand what was going on around him.
Being legally blind, and almost deaf should have had a impact on how Law enforcement handled this case, yet they seemingly continued without reguard for Monroes age, handicaps, or advise from neoghbors and friends.
The families of the Law Enforcement Officers who killed Monroe Isadore must be real proud of their fathers, mothers and sisters and brothers. They will hold their heads high when walking around Pine Bluff knowing thier relation took out such a evil criminal. Be proud Pine Buff. You are setting the stage for your childrens future.
S.W.A.T. in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, have killed a 107-year-old man, Monroe Isadore. The killing took place on Saturday around 430pm.
According to reports, police had responded to a domestic disturbance at 1400 block of West 16th Street, in Pine Bluffs, which is south of Little Rock. Two other occupants in the house were evacuated from the home.
Isadore reportedly had barricaded himself inside a bedroom. Isadore shot through the door after officers announced themselves to Isadore, who is legally blind and hard of hearing. No one was hit by the bullet and police decided to call SWAT for back-up.
SWAT used a camera to look inside the room and confirmed Isadore was armed with a gun. SWAT then used gas. Police say Isadore fired in response.
The SWAT entry team breached the room and engaged Isadore, killing him.
Since the September 11, 2001, terrorism attacks, urban police forces cashed up on federal security funds have become more militarized and thus use SWAT teams more often, with deadly results.
Controversial SWAT raids include:
- In May 16, 2010, a SWAT raid in Detroit, Michigan, left 7-year-old Aiyana Mo’Nay Stanley Jones dead. Police were looking for a murder suspect when SWAT raided her home. A grand jury has indicted officer Joseph Weekley for involuntary manslaughter.
- In Connecticut, a SWAT team raiding a home on May 18, 2008, resulted in the death of an unarmed man who was watching porn on TV in the den. Five towns were forced to pay $3.5 million to the family of Gonzalo Guizan, the victim in the botched raid.

The mayor of this town, and the people, need to inform their Police Chief that calling in a SWAT team will instantly escalate any confrontation. It seems there is a backstory to the Isadore shooting. For some reason, somebody felt this 107 year-old couldn’t live on his own any longer, and they moved him in with an 80 year-old woman not too long ago. After a month, she told him he would have to find other accommodation. Now everybody should realize that a physical move for an elderly person is traumatizing in the first place. Had some Bozo Doctor put Isadore on bew medication?!!! This was going to be the second move in less than a year. Did Isadore assault the woman? If he did, the last thing she should have done was call in the police. CALLING THE POLICE THESE DAYS, FOR ANYTHING, IS THE LAST THING ANYONE SHOULD DO! Now calling the man’s pastor – THAT would have been a good idea. I have been to Pine Bluff, and the fact that this nightmare scenario happened in that town just proves how far America has slipped. People no longer care about each other, they are no longer willing to ask themselves what is fair in a situation, and they are no longer interested in taking responsibility for their actions. The police calling the SWAT team, when the police KNOW how the modus operandi of every SWAT team… It was murder!
Take Back Pine Bluff?..what a joke…the Mayor has no clue…the Chief of police is a slob…the whole city is over run with gangs and drugs…highest crime rate per capita in the country…worst economy, and the mere metion of industrial Hemp as a solution is greeted with disdain for pot usage…morons…I always thought that some day all the old southern Baptists on the city council would die off and they would recover from social repression…it has instead of growing with new ideas, thieves took over in order to line their pockets…{:}(
Pine Bluff is a little Detroit now, which once thrived on two main industries, railroad and paper manufacturing, both gone downhill now. I grew up in this town. Lived there from 1964 to 1980. It’s now a post-apocalyptic gangland inhabited only by predator and prey… gangbangers and elderly people. I went down for a funeral in July after decades away, and I’m still not over the shock of seeing everything exactly as it was when I left, only deteriorated and abandoned. Even those who claim loyalty to the town have left and are living in satellite communities on the perimeter. Pine Bluff’s arsenal used to be a storage dump for binary nerve agents, chemical weapons of the military, and also the National Center for Toxological Research. I grew up breathing paper mill fumes and toxic waste. So did everyone else there. A few that I grew up with stayed and joined the police gang there, and with ONE exception, all of them were bottomfeeding scum of the earth that… well, let’s just say if I had to trust them to PROTECT me, I’d sooner just put a bullet in my own head and be done with it… Believe it or not, back in the days of the Cuban Missile Crisis, one of Castro’s primary targets was the Pine Bluff Arsenal… over… tell me if this sounds familiar… purported evidence that CHEMICAL WEAPONS were being manufactured there.
107 years old!! He lived a long life only to be shot to death by killer cops!
