Below is a post I wrote last November regarding Damascus. In light of the latest developments (HT Karen) between Syria and Israel at the links to follow I felt I should repost it.
As you are also probably aware; Damascus is in Syria, and the Syrian government has been in a bitter war with “rebels” or “opposition forces” as they are called, for many months. As you are also probably aware, Syria has stock piles of chemical weapons. So far none of these have been reported as being used in the conflict. Syria’s President Assad has threatened to unleash a brutal attack–which could include chemical weapons–on the Mid East, and especially Israel, if he feels he will face a loss to the rebels.
How is Assad doing against the rebels? The quoted article above reports that rebel forces have just taken out a major radar site critical to Assad and his forces leaving him severely compromised.
It appears that Assad is being “cornered.” Will he unleash his chemical weapons and carry out his threat that the “Middle East would go up in flames, especially
Israel?” If he does I could easily see how Israel could respond with nuclear weapons so that “Damascus is taken away from being a city” and made a ruinous heap.

I received the following email and wanted to pass it along.

You will recall the email put out over a year ago regarding a prophetic dream of a cruise missile attack against Tel Aviv. Please read all of this report and let me know if you will be praying. Here is the prophetic dream sent over a year ago… you will also read below why this being sent NOW:
DREAM:
In the wee hours of this morning He sent me a very vivid dream. Let me give you the pertinent parts.
I was in Israel, I believe at Ben Gurion Airport (today is the 38th anniversary of the passing of Ben Gurion and He brought this dream today) andBibi Netanyahu was speaking to me and was expressing thanks for the intercessions that have come forth for him. ‘This has kept me’ he said.
Then suddenly a tall woman with long black hair in a red dress captured his attention and he followed after her. He went into a small conference room and was not seen again.
Suddenly a man was speaking to me and spoke of a man from CHINA and mentioned $500,000.
At that moment I looked up and a large dark gun-metal grey cruise missile of some kind came overhead… the reason I believe it was a ‘cruise missile’ is because of its wings. I could clearly see the red-orange fire from the rear propellant… blazing hot. (end of dream) (end quote)
As a result of this dream and the clear message that Israel will be threatened with missile attack, you may recall we have also seen the David’s Sling anti missile attack technology being developed and we knew He had us praying into that.
BUT THE TIME TO PRAY IS NOW… we cannot wait until 2014! We need to pray in the Root and Offspring of David, Yehoshua, now to see this threat stopped.
There were several elements in the dream including Binyamin Netanyahu and CHINA.
The dream also showed a live, up close and personal look at a cruise missile headed toward Tel Aviv. And in the dream Binyamin Netanyahu turned and followed a Chinese woman into ‘talks’ of some kind.
NOW we have seen Israel target military sites in Syria as Iranian munitions were trying to funnel their way through to Hizbullah in Lebanon.
SO we have this scenario developing where Syria/Iran/Hizbullah are highly motivated to lob one into Israel, and Tel Aviv has been an oft cited target.
Further, the prophetic dream He sent caused me to research cruise missile capability inside of Hizbullah, and you may recall the article found… here is an excerpt:

The $500,000 in the dream pointed to the real time cost of securing a modest cruise missile. There was much more in the article including the fact that Israel herself sold capabilities to China which in turn appears to have found their way into Iran’s hands. Further that Chinese made cruise missiles have gone circuitously through Iran, and have found themselves nesting in Hizbullah strongholds. They are now highly motivated to use what they have, so we must pray.
What has caused me to know it is time to put out this warning now is the following… during this time, right now, as Syria/Iran/Hizbullah would like to retaliate from the north, BIBI IS GOING TO CHINA FOR TALKS, just as in the dream, at the same time that the cruise missile was headed to Tel Aviv… today:

Netanyahu leaves after brief delay for security cabinet meeting; China talks to include topics of Iran and Syria.
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu set off for his five-day trip to China Sunday evening, despite the heightened tension following reports that Israel carried out attacks against Syria on Sunday.
Netanyahu went to the airport directly for a security cabinet meeting called urgently to discuss the developments in Syria. Netanyahu’s departure was delayed by two hours to allow for the meeting. (end quote)
One thing to note. In the dream, the missile was identified as a cruise missile because of its wings.
But He is saying to pray that all Israel gets under HIS WINGS as in PSALM 91.
Further, remember in the dream this all took place in the Tel Aviv Airport, and Bibi was right then leaving to talk to CHINA. It is happening right now… so…
1. PRAY PSALM 91 OVER ISRAEL, sent below.
2. Pray for protection in Israel against all cruise missile attacks. Pray that He will ‘reveal, expose, uncover’ where the missiles are and will ‘move and remove’ them through targeted IDF strikes as this ‘heavenly intelligence’ is revealed.
3. Pray that He will protect Bibi Netanyahu and send him back to Israel ahead of time… may He send him back right now… and give him wisdom, insight, LEADING by HIS SPIRIT.
4. That America will come beside Israel right now in all manner of ways: intelligence gathering and sharing, military help of all kinds including equipment, statements of support (as BO recently did), no ‘behind Israel’s backs’ shenanigans, Congressional statements of support and help and more. US Navy positioned to dissuade any retaliations and to discourage any more Iranian transport of munitions for Syria and/or Hizbullah. And dissuading Russia and CHINA through back channels. And anything else He shows you.
5. That He will continue to protect all Israel from all attacks of all kinds every where. Including attacks against Jews in all places.
We must especially target 1 and 2 right now… but we must pray all 5 points. Let us believe Him that this possible attack will be completely prevented… that is why He sends prophetic dreams… so we can intercede.
Remember Bibi Netanyahu in the dream thanking me for praying and helping keep him. This was from HIM letting us know that intercession will be needed during this time.
Again, the attack against Syria and their wanting to retaliate from the north, especially through Hizbullah, and then Bibi Netanyahu planning right now to go to China, are the elements that have brought the timing.
Please let me know if you will take up this cause in prayer.
