PROFIT - why are people so fucking miserable?

the answer’s in the title and the label, PROFIT.

“Mike, how can you say that profit is the root of all misery?”

Well, because it is.

People are FUCKING MISERABLE because they’ve gotta work their arses off for some Corporate Empire that demands rent, rates, taxes, licenses, subscription, goods and services, food, water, shelter, 9-5 etc… endless mental torture and mindless slavery to the $ the £ the ¥.

You see people in the streets, you deal with them on a daily basis, you see THEY DON’T FUCKING REALISE they’re being shat on by all that the call Freedom and Justice. The best way to put this is, “They all look miserable.” It is really difficult to get a smile from a fucking human fucking being, these days. Everyone is like looking over their food-protecting tattooed arm in the prison canteen. All their lives, people are waiting to be ripped off. Well, get used to this fact, YOU ARE BEING RIPPED OFF, raped and beaten to death by YOUR CONSUMERIST SOCIETY every fucking day.

There is no freedom, no justice; just profit. Amen.

Are they talking about the EAST INDIA COMPANY planting their flag on Native American soil where the FREE and the BRAVEs used to rule?
