New Moons mark the beginning of a new cycle.  New Moons are also the most spiritual and intuitive moons of the whole Lunar cycle.  It is a wonderful time to manifest, meditate and create!  Each New Moon brings with it a down load of evolutionary energies to give us the knowledge to create a beautiful future. Remember that the New Moon energy last a day and half on each side of the peak.  

This New Moon is a rare New Moon for several reasons… Having a New Moon on January 1^st has only occurred 12 times in the past 300 years!   Also this New Moon is a Super New Moon, meaning that it is very close to the Earth….therefore it represents an intensification of the lunar cycle and its energies.  It is a time when the ocean tides become larger and stronger as the closeness of the Super New Moon effects the Earth.   Although we have 5 Super New/Full Moons in 2014……This New Moon is the closest one we will have in 2014. What you think, what you say, and the seeds you are planting are extremely powerful at this New Moon!  This New Moon on the 1^st day of the New Year magnifies our manifestations and our intentions for all of 2014.

The New Moon is sitting in Capricorn.  Capricorn rules the government, the military, the banks, corporate America etc.   Capricorn is about integrity, respect, maturity and to have the discipline to be able to focus on your goals, both worldly and for your Spiritual Soul growth. Capricorn is the sign of the Initiate!  Capricorn is about structures and the “old.”  This New Moon is asking us to let go of the “old” that is no longer working….purge….clean out…..and move away from people, places and things that are no longer vibrating where you are vibrating.   Get rid of things that are not working for you anymore.  Do all of this with Compassion….and in the kindest way possible.  You are building a new structure and it is You….build it with the highest vibrations you can and let go of anything that isn’t part of the new structure.  The Capricorn energies of patience and timing are also present…..so don’t be hard on yourself….just keep purging and letting go.

Capricorn is also about Time….liner time and the “real world”.  Pluto is in Capricorn and sitting with the New Moon.   Transformation around time, and the “real world”.   With all the activations over this last year and the Galactic center being activated so much, the opening to the Universe has been stretched to let more Universal time arrive on Earth.  Universal time is now mixing with liner time.  Have you had a day where you just run out of time?  A day where you feel as if you “lost” time?  One of the things this New Moon is saying is that we are learning to balance Universal and Liner time so that our communities on earth and throughout the Galaxy can work together, back and forth, with the same time system.   This means that traditional physics, for example, is being transformed into future ideas such as Quantum areas and realms where things are not so structured or stationary.

Capricorn also represents the Wisdom of the Elders…..the Elders now, in the past, in the future and throughout the Galaxies.  Listen to them….close your eyes, sit with the Earth (outside if possible or sit with your hand in the dirt of large potted plant)…feel the Earth….then call in the Elders….and Listen!  Capricorn’s earthly energies also help us to be able to co-cerate the “New” by bringing it into form.  Capricorn energy can show us how to strengthen your footing in the “New” that we are co-creating….throughout the entire year. 

This New Moon is also part of a very powerful Cardinal Grand Cross that will be affecting us through May. A Cardinal Grand Cross is recognized as the most powerful aspects in Astrology.  A Cardinal Grand Cross is made up of 4 planets (Pluto, Uranus, Mars and Jupiter) that are square (friction and stressful energy) to each other and 2 sets of the 4 planets that are opposing (trying to bring both sides into balance) each other and bringing them into balance.  Cardinal energy is…Birthing of New, Change, Transformation, and Urgency.  The goal is to grow through the squares and to bring into balance the oppositions while using Cardinal energy. In this particular Cardinal Grand Cross we also have the Capricorn New Moon and Mercury sitting with Pluto.

How can you understand and use the energies of this Cardinal Grand Cross.   I will attempt to explain each part below, try to Feel the energies I talk about and meditate on them:

Cardinal energy is the energy of…..Birthing of New, Change, Transformation, and Urgency. The 4 main planets of the Cardinal Grand Cross are: Pluto, Uranus, Mars and Jupiter. And they are sitting in Cardinal Energy.  

Pluto in this Cardinal Grand Cross is sitting next to the Capricorn New Moon along with Mercury…all in Capricorn. Pluto is about transformation….transformation of your Soul and the Soul of the Earth…it doesn’t care what kind of car you drive or where you live, or how much money you have….it only cares about your Soul It is emphasizing……no lies, no secrets, no out of bounds ego, no judgment, no manipulation or control.  Pluto cares about integrity and respect of all….we are all one!   

Mercury is about your “voice” what you say and how you say it. With Mercury sitting by Pluto, your voice can become very intense and passionate…this can be used to start a new project or it can be used in anger through arguments…stay on the high side.   Make sure what you say is within integrity and respect for all .

Mercury is the planet of the voice and the mind.   It is also about Youth, emphasizing the birthing of “New” (part of the Cardinal energy) ….while the “new” is still very young!

Pluto (sitting next to the New Moon) is letting us know that transformation can happen through our emotions and family (the Moon) and that you need to stay within integrity and respect when communicating. Things will be brought up, during this time, about relationships…all relationships including family ones.   Meditate during this powerful New Moon on relationships especially family, and your emotional entanglements. Ask for guidance on what needs to be let go of, and how to do it in the most compassionate way as we shift into higher energies.  Be sure to Listen!   Remember that even though you can’t see the moon, you can hear your guidance when you Listen.   Pluto and Mercury sitting together is about the transformation of how you speak and how you are now being guided to deliver your wisdom.  Transforming from where you were to where you are becoming through your voice and mind.    Manifest and Meditate…and above all Listen….this new Moon has something to say.

Uranus is the planet of constant change, humanity/community, thinking out side of the box, being able to see the big picture, and the rebel.  It can bring about revolutionary change.  Uranus is in Aries (the warrior, the pioneer, the crusader, the “Me” energy, passion, courage).  Uranus is about Humanity, community, your tribe, the genius.  Uranus is also the God ruler of Aries.  Why would the Universe put the God Ruler of Aries in Aries at this time and in such a powerful Cardinal Grand Cross?  It is asking us to gently move from the “Me” to the “We” energy.  We are all one….no one is better than anyone else…we are all one.  We need the warrior, but we need the spiritual warrior for all humanity…..the spiritual pioneer, crusader for all humanity, for your community, for your tribe.   This is the “New”….part of the “New World” that we are co-creating.

Jupiter is the planet of higher learning in religions and philosophies, questing for knowledge, master teachers, published authors, travel, fun, optimism, JOY.    JOY being the ultimate goal of this shift……living in Joy!   Jupiter in this Cardinal Grand Cross wants us to listen to and study the Wisdom of the Elders from our families, the community, the world, the Ancient Star Systems and the Galaxies….and then to share that knowledge through teaching, writing, sharing with everyone……so that we can easily obtain the ultimate goal of optimism and JOY!

Mars is also part of this Cardinal Grand Cross and will be the focal point of this through May.  Mars is the warrior energy, the crusader, the pioneer, courage and passion.   When you bring in the Warrior energy and put it in strong aspect to Pluto (transformation) and Uranus (constant change) in a Cardinal Grand Cross, the energy can be present for anger, arguments, war, fights, aggression, accidents, accidents with metal, violence etc..  Mars adds a volatile energy to this Cardinal Grand Cross.   We need to be aware of this….watch where you walk, where you drive and how others are driving.  It is not a good time to have surgeries if you can wait, schedule it when Mars isn’t in as close aspect to this Cardinal Grand Cross.  What you say and how you say it.  Treat others with respect. Etc. etc.     Channel this very intense energy by exercising, starting a new project, focusing your passion in an area that serves your highest Soul work, keeping yourself busy and walking away from confrontations. Mars is in Libra which is ruled by Venus the planet of love and creativity.  Libra is about balance…and the law.  With the Universe placing Mars (male) in Libra (female) at this time, shows that the Universe is speaking loudly about Balance!  Balance between the Sacred Male and Sacred Feminine energy, about balance in all relationships….   The Universe is saying “Make love not War”…..recognize that phrase?   Remember we are in the ‘60’s part 2…..and the Universe is speaking Loudly!!!!    

The energy of all these planets in the Cardinal Grand Cross…. right now…. are setting the stage…..on New Year’s Day…. for all of 2014.  It is giving us the push we need, and the energy we need, to make the changes that we need to make, as we co-create the “New World” and the “New You”.  It is saying that within ourselves and all humanity, we have to get into the higher energies and let them embody us.   The focus is on Balance…bringing the Sacred Feminine and the Sacred Male energies into balance.  Balance between the yin and yang, the light and dark, the new and the old…etc.  The balance in all relationships, equal give and take.  Moving away from people, places, and things that are no longer serving you on your Souls path…. that are no longer vibrating where you are, and to do it in the most compassionate way.   These energies are also focusing on coming from the Soul, coming from the Heart….thinking with the Heart, speaking from the Heart, we are all one….    There is a focus on integrity and respect for all, while we move away from no lies, no secrets, no manipulation, no out of bounds ego, no control, no jealousy, no betrayals etc.  It also is asking us to honor the wisdom’s of the elders.  To reach for and obtain the Joy, optimism and higher knowledge of Jupiter!  These energies are revolutionary energies working through change and transformation.   The breaking down of old structures that are not working anymore, in the world and within yourselves…..and as they are breaking down, being able to see through the chaos and emotional ties …. the beautiful big picture that the Universe is presenting to us!  Out of the ashes rises the Phoenix.  These are the energies of this Cardinal Grand Cross….in which this New Moon is part of.

We also have Venus in Capricorn during this New Moon, and Venus is retrograde….meaning it appears to be moving backwards.   When Venus is retrograde we eternalize our thinking and our thoughts about relationships…all relationships.   It is asking us to think about the Divine Feminine and the balancing of the Feminine and Male, Yin and Yang, light and dark, right brain and left brain, in all relationships including the Earth and Spirituality. It is time to find new categories for our relationships.   New ways of being in relationship without the jealousy, manipulation, betrayals, and control etc., but to learn and honor integrity and respect, equal give and take in all relationships.   Learning that relationships are complicated and to be able to stay in integrity we need to honor new categories for relationships. That is the strength and power we are learning, in love, from Pluto in Capricorn, not far from Venus and which Venus will be sitting next to over the next few weeks.

Are Ancient Star Systems are also being activated.

This New Capricorn Moon along with Pluto and Mercury are sitting on Vega.  Vega  is often referred to as the Sapphire Star and is in the constellation Lyre, “the little harp”. One area Vega represents is music, and Pluto (transformation) is within the orb of Vega, transforming music into the “new” in many different areas. Recently there has been an increase in the areas of “Healing with Music”.  Expect and create more avenues to open up in all areas of Music, especially around the areas of healing.  Vega was used by our ancient ancestors including those from Atlantis and early Egyptians. Vega is also associated with the sign Capricorn, which is the sign the New Moon is in.  Music is considered an International language and Capricorn represents the government and structures (medicine/hospitals).

Mars is sitting on the Super Galactic Center is the Galactic Center that our Galaxy rotates around along with about 30 other Galaxies. Giving us the energy and courage to become the Pioneer who will be willing to communicate/listen/and become and active participant with many Galaxies!

Ceres (gives us the “rites of passage),  is sitting on The Star Arcturus.  Arcturus is the fourth-brightest star in the sky.  Edgar Cayce mentioned Arcturus more than 30 times in his readings, calling it “the highest civilization in our galaxy” and “the way, the door out of this system.”   Other channeled sources identify Arcturus as one of several extraterrestrial groups who weeded life on  Earth and who continue to aid humanity’s evolution.

To me this is a lot of synchronicities…… Meditate on what these activations of the ancient star systems might mean to you and to the “New World” that we are all co-creating.

With this Cardinal Grand Cross involved with this Capricorn New Moon…we are being asked to become aware of our power, as we create and manifest with every thought we have.   Direct that power from the Heart as you mediate and manifest on this Capricorn New Moon.  Meditate on how things are transforming and changing in the “Real World” to the “New World”, and how we are now moving into areas that we have never been in before…remember to focus on the Heart and create from the Heart!   The Heart is the new brain!   Create  a beautiful World for you, your community and all humanity. This is a powerful New Moon.  Create and manifest your future, set down your goals for the year.   Sit with yourself and Listen !!!!    Listen to your guidance….Listen to your Soul.
