Fuku Warning! US Gov't Orders 14 Million Doses Of Potassium Iodide (Video)

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

On December 6th the US Department of Health and Human Services put a solicitation notice on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website for 14 million 65 mg doses of Potassium Iodide, the standard treatment protocol for someone exposed to high levels of radiation. As a stipulation of this solicitation, which gets bid on by registered contractors, the HHS requires the 14 million doses to be delivered by the end of January. In other words, the HHS needs enough doses of Potassium Iodide to treat 14 million Americans by the end of January!

The primary use for Potassium Iodide is used for treating, as well as minimizing damaging effects from, radiation poisoning. The area of the human body that are most-sensitive to radiation exposure are the thyroid gland. It absorbs the radiation like a wet sponge.

This is intreesting right?  While it’s insane still to think that Fukushima might affect people on the west coast of America enough to use these pills, it’s actually quite a sane move by the government to be doing this.  Odd right?  None the less, let’s hope we don’t have to use them.  -Mort

Well, considering you need a dose a day, I can’t say what theyre thinking… unless its JUST for government employees. Which would not surprise me very much.

      • Anonymous

Just what I was thinking. When is the last time the government did you a favor?

        • Billpits

The most feared words in the world: “We’re from the government, and we’re here to help.”

    • bigE

i don’t expect the gov to do anything for me ,so go buys some pills yourself like I did

      • conscious soul

LISTEN UP!! chlorophyll is the most effective why to remove radiation from the body!! Please do some research it works. GOD BLESS AND MAY GOD HAVE MERCY!

    • KnowMoreThanYou

If the government supposedly wants almost everyone dead, why would they order Iodine to help them? Does not makes sense to me.

      • robobbob

        1) familiar with the story of Hansel and Gretel and how the witch lured them in?
        2) gov must maintain some sort of credibility that they are there to help. better the mob line up for their pills than break out the pitch forks looking for some one to pay for not trying to help.
        3) besides, if the problem is long term persistent contamination, PI pills will be about as effective as sugar pills. the only solution is evacuation of the area. which is the cornerstone of Agenda 21 objectives: relocate, contain, reduce. PI pills not withstanding, whole lotta people won’t survive but the gov gets to say they tried.
        4) not saying it’s true, but come on man, use some imagination instead of just blowing off uncomfortable possibilities

        • Vladilyich

‘… PI pills will be about as effective as sugar pills.”

KI – The Latin name for potassium was “kalium”, hence the K.

Because that form of iodine is the cheapest form to produce but has the worst side effects. Nascent (atomic) Iodine is a better choice.

The gov. just wants to appear to be concerned to placate the sheeple but believe me, they give the best stuff to their own. They don’t want to spend the money to provide what’s really needed.

Here is a quote from “Web MD” about the side effects of potassium iodine:

Nausea, vomiting, stomach ache, diarrhea, metallic taste in the mouth, fever, headache, or acne may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
If your doctor has directed you to use this medication, remember that he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.
Tell your doctor immediately if any of these unlikely but serious side effects occur: burning mouth/throat, sore teeth/gums, swelling inside the mouth, increased saliva, eye irritation/swollen eyelids, severe headache, swelling of the front of the neck/throat (goiter), signs of decreased thyroid gland function (e.g., weight gain, cold intolerance, slow/irregular heartbeat, constipation, unusual tiredness), confusion, numbness/tingling/pain/weakness of the hands/feet.
Seek immediate medical attention if any of these rare but very serious side effects occur: chest pain, black stools, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, bloody diarrhea.
A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, trouble breathing, fever with joint pain.
This is not a complete list of possible side effects. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

No disrespect meant KnowsMoreThanYou, but I don’t understand how so many people don’t seem able to think things through, or just don’t do the research.
        Fluoride dumb down is real.

        Peace to you.

Web MD describes all the transition symptoms of an iodine deficiency patient at the start of iodine supplementation protocol, which can initiate a DETOXIFICATION event.

I was a federal employee who had an emergency response role in the event of a nuclear/radiation emergency. I was issued potassium iodide tablets (65 mg). I started receiving them when I was a low level grunt and I retired as a high level executive – always received the KI.

Thats a 15 day supply for under 100 people. US population is 313.9 million – 933k leaves just about 313million screwed.

14 million doses may be enough for government employees but certainly not enough to cover the millions of people along the west coast.

      • veryworried49

I think you might have missed the memo on this one…the meds are not intended for the citizens that put these fools in office but for the fools themselves. Starting to make sense yet??

      • StarRyder

I’m not big on conspiracy theories, but the Fukushima issue is a horse of a different colour, and I keep an eye on everything that is in regards to it. I live on the west coast and so does all my family, and my grandchildren…I am motivated.

To answer your question: Think of the population of California. 37,300,000 people. The government ordered 14 million doses, so they don’t even have enough for California, never mind Oregon, Washington, and the fact the radiation shows up as far in as Kansas. Maybe that 14 million doses will take care of the elite few, and I do mean few, because it’s not a one shot dose, it requires a daily regimine.

If you post a vid, why is the title link not working?
Can someone provide the person who made this videos’ direct you tube channel? Thanks

The man making the video is DANA? I am looking for HIS CHANNEL specifically.
      What is HIS NAME?

      • Tyler Durden II

        BeautifulGirlbyDana
That’s his channel’s name and he has been one of a handful covering this disaster from the start.

      • NITROXI

        Dana is his name

        • NITROXI

Wow someone down voted me for providing factual information. How about you go to the suppled link and see for yourself people saying hi to him and he replies to the name Dana. Or are you so narrow minded that you think a man cannot be called that?

    • Looneytoonsindville

First, 14 million doses of potassium iodide (KI) will NOT treat 14 million people. An adult dose is 2-65mg pills once every 24 hours until the threat of exposure is eliminated. You have to take the dose PRIOR to or within a few hours of initial exposure for the KI to work, and it is only effective against radioactive iodine. KI has a relatively short shelf-life (about 5 – 7 years). The federal government stockpiles this material to distribute to emergency workers before they are dispatched to an event/disaster location. There are a lot of errors in this report – somebody needs to do their homework.

      • Freeamerican

You just ruined the end times hystericals party, shame on you for pointing out the truth.

    • holistic

Yes, Potassium Iodine can help radiation not infect your thyroid glands but it won’t detox your body of it! I’d avoid contact with any radiation exposure if I possibly could, and I would look into natural zeolite powder to do that, as that’s what it does best naturally.

    • Bronson

I said from the start, that there would be violent chemical reactions…Why did they even build this plant by the sea? They knew the risk, and where warned. Salt has a lot of violent chemical reactions. It can be very violent on its own, Mixed with radiation, extreme violent reactions occur. It does not dilute in sea water.
They have killed the Plankton, the life blood, it is just a matter of a short time now.

The soil around FUKU is not even stable enough to contain the site…….it will all wash out to sea.

Wonder if they bought it for the overseas military bases.. (Like Okinawa, etc..)

This is so last-century, when the radiation danger was from NUCLEAR WAR.

Back then, radioactive contamination was something that happened ONCE, so taking one of these massive doses of iodine was appropriate while you evacuated to a place farther from ground zero.

TODAY the danger is the CONTINUOUS EXPOSURE TO RADIATION FOR THE FOLLOWING DECADES, IF NOT CENTURIES.

The RDA for iodine is 150 mcg. The 65 mg in these tablets is over FOUR HUNDRED times the RDA. You cannot take massive doses like this indefinitely!

What’s needed is a smaller maintenance dose that can be taken indefinitely, to keep out the radioactive iodine.

Another danger is radioactive cesium-137. I’ve seen claims that potassium will block the uptake of cesium-137, but I haven’t verified this. Radioactive cesium has a much longer half life, so this will be the greatest danger after the radioactive iodine has dissipated.

OR……………….it could be because of a NUKE ….

Dont forget Obama is both Executioner and “Saviour’. He wont hesitate to “NUKE’ the USA , (with the blame towards some one else) at the same time he will also appear as the Great Saviour of his people .

I wouldnt put it past him , not for a second .As he flashes his smile, he will never let you know what the right hand is ACTUALLY doing & how hes prepared his plan in advance..

This “Requisite” is something to take very , very seriously . Specially with such a “rushed ” deadline .

    • womble

You would be wiser to take calcium bentonite clay as this removes radiation and all toxins from the body, it binds with the toxins and removes them plus you’re also getting much needed trace minerals. Be well all.

    • YouGuysAreIdiots

Good grief you people are embarrassing. Despite what these “writers” try to tell you, iodine orders do happen. They are for distribution in the areas surround US nuclear power plants. Standard operating procedure. Geez.

    • BrianFraser

Women have an especially high requirement for iodine. Breast tissue is high in this mineral because it is needed for infant brain development. (and this also makes me wonder if iodine deficiency is a factor in autism)

If we keep importing fish from China, Id say the odds are pretty good that most of Americans are going to need it . At first I thought that Obama wanted to make sure the illegals in California would be safe, (Democratic voters, you know) , But the way they are breeding, it would not cover but just one area. So he might be thinking of his beloved Muslim brothers. Just an idjitcated though on the subject.

    • Rufus Juice

don’t forget in Japan seniors volunteered to charge in there knowing they would be poisoned and/or die but realized they had to act to save the world. The situation may still be bad, but it could have been worse.

meanwhile in the States the EBT mindset has people asking if they will be given Potassium Iodine pills ~ Go order your own. they are pretty cheap ~ and I’d rather have a bottle than not regardless of effectiveness.

    • Dr_Doom

I think you’ve missed the mark. The government isn’t buying this potassium iodide to protect us from Fuku, they are preparing for Obama’s false flag event. He’s already tried to set off a nuclear device once and was stopped. Not this time.

    • Moe

14 million? In L.A. metro area alone there are over 20 million. So who gets left to die? Well no one who follows this little piece of advice. in lieu of the potassium iodide pill, use colorless or clear iodine, that’s the liquid form of potassium iodide. Simply smear the underside of one forearm with a thin layer of this form of iodine and your body will absorb the maximum amount of potassium iodide your body can hold. Do that daily while the problem exists and you should be mostly protected from radioactive iodine entering your system en mass.

What I find strange is that no one addresses the body’s absorption of strontium 90, the stuff that replaces the calcium in your bones and deteriorates rapidly, leaving your skeletal system to frail to support your body weight and your bones begin breaking quite easily, even to the touch. Its the by-product of a massive radiation exposure as described in this article, which is very informative. Might want to research this and if anyone finds a way to stop that absorption or at least slow it down, AND THEN SHARE IT HERE.

I was able to leave one comment and then when I tried to reply on another’s comment, I got a pop-up that said this has been reported as spam. So when I tried to reply on another, I got the same pop-up. Then I went to every one of the comments and replies and all the attempts resulted in the same pop-up. HUH? Did someone report all the comments and replies as spam? I just did two clean-up scans with two different reputable systems so it’s doubtful the problem is with my computer. Would really like to know what’s happening.

Possibly the gov’ment is clutching at straws as are we serfs. However, with the BOHICAs perpetrated on we serfs for so many decades, bureaucrats and politicians have lost all credibility with those serfs who can yet think logically and objectively.
