The BLM says this is all over the safety of a desert tortoise, and grazing rights the BLM imposed back in the 90′s… Well, since Bundy’s family have been there since 1870, before Nevada was even a State, Bundy has rights there on that land that a new property owners wouldn’t have…
So this needs to be before a supreme court, not the BLM STEALING his cattle and selling them… THAT’S RUSTLING!!!
ALSO, the tortoise must have been there for hundreds of years and the cattle have never endangered them… ALSO the BLM is planning on killing hundreds of desert tortoises because they don’t have the funds to care and monitor them!!! THAT’S RIGHT!

The tortoise excuse is just a ruse. Bundy’s land isn’t some scrubby desert crap, it’s prime land with a great water supply and gas line through it. There is evidence that they want to frack on this land, and mine the minerals there.
The headline says southern Nevada militia, the document’s signature has a 717 area code that is Pennsylvania. So that would mean that the PA militia is mobilizing. All its going to take is one of these BLM cattle rustlers to shoot somebody and all hell is going to break loose.
I hope the militia takes the Federalist out, let it be war if necessary, this has all went far enough time to take’m down.

The way I understand this is that the ranchers disagree with how much they owe on their LEASE of land with the BLM. If you don’t pay, you don’t get free range land. This is NOT a militia moment, this is a tenant who breached a contract.

Don’t let this keep your attention from the Constitutional Convention that has been triggered and is now manditory since 34 states have officially called for one. Seems to me after 100 yrs of cattle grazing on this ranch has decidedly NOT bothered the still existing tortoises any. They were there before. They are there now and short of the BLM making a problem, the cattle, turtles, and maybe a few solar panels would all still be just fine.
You notice the BLM does not want cattle disturbing turtles, which they obviously have not in a hundred years, but they are gung ho on putting in solar panel farm, which will require an immense amount of heavy equipment and disturbance of the seemingly delicate turtles.
Bottom line: tortoises happy with cattle 100 yrs will be happy another 100 yrs. All the critters will be upset and molested if BLM shoots, bombs, trounces, and builds.
