Advances in nanotechology have allowed for the creation of very small particles and “smart” molecules that can be released from various platforms (which may have already happened) that can invade a targeted individual or group. These particulates can carry a very small “payload” of a certain substance, such as a chemical or biological agent. Once inside a human body the particles would then release that substance, or if they’re “smart” molecules, the could receive a signal to do so. Incapacitation, illness, and death would be the result. A “smart” molecule could also attack the cells of certain organs or the brain, causing the same results.
