Heavy Clashes And Fighting In Eastern Ukraine After Failed Ceasefire. Heavy clashes and fighting recently erupted again in the easter parts of Ukraine as the latest ceasefire agreement failed. In 2015 the Ukrainian Army started heavy combat operations to captue the Donetsk Airport from rebel troops but was apereantly stopped by Novorossian Rebels who, on their side, started an counter offensive against Ukrainian troops in Pisky and the area of Luhansk that was taken by Ukrainian military in 2014.

The outcome on the battlefield is not clear as the fighting erupted recently and is still ongoing. Also at this time every side claims to have the upper hand so it is hard to get ubiased verified informations. It is very likely that heavy clashes fighting and firefights on the fresh erupted frontlines of the battlefield in eastern ukraine will continue.
