This CONGRESSMAN TRIED TO EXPOSE "THE New World Order" - (Video Interview)
Lawrence Patton McDonald publicly stated that he believed that there were longstanding covert efforts being made by the Trilateral Commision and other powerful groups to bring about, ‘socialism and world government, a new world order’.
Here is a quote from the late congressman:
“The drive of the Rockefellers and their allies is to create a one-world government, combining super-capitalism and Communism under the same tent, all under their control … Do I mean conspiracy? Yes I do. I am convinced there is such a plot, international in scope, generations old in planning, and incredibly evil in intent.”[40][41]
Public distrust of the group increased. In 1980, the American Legion national convention passed Resolution 773, which called for a congressional investigation of the Trilateral Commission and its predecessor the Council on Foreign Relations. The following year the Veterans of Foreign War (VFW) adopted a similar resolution. Congressman Larry McDonald introduced these resolutions, but Congress did not pass them. On September 1, 1983 McDonald, a long-time critic of the global elite, was a passenger on Korean Airlines 007 when it was allegedly shot down by the Soviets.
Truly sad. Further research into the matter reveals that the “official story” was probably not the true story. Here is a clip, months before his death in 1983, where he explains his beliefs to Pat Buchanan and Tom Braden on Crossfire:

Ashbrook of Ohio in the establishment of Western Goals Foundation, the stated mission of which was “to strengthen the political, economic and social structure of Western Civilization so as to make any merger with totalitarians impossible.”

You know what they call Conservative Democrats these days? Republicans. Everything has swung so far to the left, those who were in the middle are now on the right. In 1976, 56% of the evangelical Christian vote went to Jimmy Carter. My, how the paradigm has shifted. FDR tried to re-align the parties in the 40′s, but the initiative lost steam until two decades later, 1964 to be exact. Things have been moving left since then. Even Bill Clinton in 1992 was called a ‘moderate’ democrat. Today, really only Obama and his circle are farther left than the Clintons. The US is most certainly a Socialist country now, approaching something much more sinister if the wurm keeps turning left. I can see now that we can thank (blame) Bush 43 for the exaggerated leftward pendulum swing. No, I am not a republican, I voted Perot, Paul, (sic) (R) and that guy who said the ‘ rent is too damn high’.
