ISIS Terrorists Are Retreating: Russia hits 33 key targets forcing the mercenaries to flee ~ link ~
A Sukhoi Su-34 managed to destroy a 9K33 Osa, surface-to-air missile launcher in Eastern Douma near Damascus. The jet dropped a smart bomb onto a concrete shelter destroying both the structure and launcher.
The launcher, known as a ‘Gecko’ by NATO, holds six missiles and is designed to give short range tactical cover to ground forces. With widespread reports of ISIS quickly crumbling away, the loss of this defence system will only hasten their annihilation.
Russian General Igor Konashenkov said, “the militants are retreating, trying to establish new positioning areas and changing their supply system,” which means the strikes are having a real, tangible effect. In order to stay ahead of the terrorists, Russia is also now increasing reconnaissance flights.

A forthcoming report by the congressional U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission provides new details of China’s space-weapons programs, dubbed counterspace arms, that are aimed at destroying or jamming U.S. satellites and limiting American combat operations around the world.
“China is pursuing a broad and robust array of counterspace capabilities, which includes direct-ascent anti-satellite missiles, co-orbital anti-satellite systems, computer network operations, ground-based satellite jammers and directed energy weapons,” a late draft of the commission’s annual report states. “China’s nuclear arsenal also provides an inherent anti-satellite capability.”
China military planners expect to use a combination of kinetic, electronic and cyber attacks against satellites or ground support structures in a conflict.
