More recently, Sputnik News has reported that “Russia’s military capabilities displayed during the military operation against Daesh in Syria ‘were a shock to the US…’” The Daily Beast has said something similar, though they put a little spin on it. What are we supposed to do? Tell Putin to stop upsetting the apple card? You may disagree with the man on many other issues, but the fact that he is putting “the fear of God” in the New World Order is a good thing. Many people are beginning to be upset about what’s going on in America and the Middle East as well. This again is a great thing.

What is more reckless and irresponsible? That is the way the United States government is behaving. If you can do things that stupid, you can cause a nuclear war.” 

Iraq: Ramadi is liberated from ISIS ~ link ~ 
The Iraqi city of Ramadi has been “liberated” from so-called Islamic State, the Iraqi military has declared. Spokesman Brig Gen Yahya Rasul said forces had achieved an “epic” victory. TV pictures showed troops raising the Iraqi flag over the government complex.

The Islamic State has suddenly accelerated its efforts in December to expand its presence in Libya. IHS assesses that this attempt is part of the group’s regional strategy aimed at alleviating pressure on the ‘caliphate’ in Syria and Iraq.

The initial operational date for the J-20 is estimated at 2018. Now, with this production copy “2101″ emerging out of the thick Chinese smog,  perhaps we should revisit the 2018 date.

Vietnam has new indigenous high-altitude long-endurance drone ~ link ~ 

Vietnam revealed its largest indigenous high-altitude long endurance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) this December, IHS Jane’s Defense Weekly reports. According to local media reports, the prototype was completed at the beginning of November and will commence test flights over the South China Sea in the summer of 2016.

The prototype is a joint project of Vietnam’s Academy of Science and Industry and the Ministry of Public Security. The new UAV, designated HS-6L, will perform both civilian and military tasks, judging from the aircraft’s design features.

Vietnamese media reports that the unarmed UAV prototype sports a Rotax 914 engine and a 22-meter wingspan. It has a range of up to 4,000 kilometers as well as an endurance of up to 35 hours. It will be equipped with unspecified optical and radar surveillance systems.
