Flat Earth Facts:

A compass cannot work on a sphere as it does on a flat plane.
On a flat earth, it’s theorized that the magnetic pole of this world is located at the center, or true north. If this is true, then it means that magnetic north exists on this plane and when measured from anywhere on the plane, magnetic north would appear to be oriented parallel, or flat to the plane.
This is commonly what we observe when we look at a compass. In fact, to accurately read the heading of a compass, you have to hold it…parallel to the ground.
Conversely, If the earth were a globe, then Magnetic north would actually exist in a unique 3 dimensional position in relation to each position on the globe. It would make taking an accurate compass reading impossible.

do you know the earth is 27 miles thicker at the equator than the rest of the planet?think of a spinning water balloon as it bulges out–if the poles/equator gets displaced as it has many times in history there is havoc to say the least–also,they use a rock in the northern hemisphere off the british coast to determind zero ground level–if you go to the equator you are going to be 400 feet higher than that rock..same in the southern hemisphere–i can assure you after flying worldwide millions of miles in air freight the earth is very round!!!

If the earth were a globe rotating on a tilted axis as we have been taught, then from inside of the arctic circle near the outer edge where the sun is visible 24 hours a day in the summer time we should see the suns path as a clockwise rotating oval, not the up and down that is observed.
The sun supposedly travels east to west across the sky because of the direction of the earth’s rotation.
At night in the arctic circle we would be moving in the opposite direction in relation to the sun, so if we could see the sun at night (which we can from inside the arctic circle) then the sun would appear to be traveling the sky from west to east.
So what we should see if the earth were a globe is the sun traveling from east to west then slowing and lowering and eventually changing direction to form an oval.
This is not what we see. So the globe is debunked.
I will go with what is proven, not what I was told by a bunch of lying freemasons.

You do realize that the whole flat earth concept was disproven by Eratosthenes in 240 BC long before Loyola created the Jesuits out of his Illumbrados. The Greeks and Romans knew the Earth was round. The author of the linked article makes claims without evidence or citation then goes on to list all the Jesuit scientists with plenty of references/links for who they are. Of course the Jesuits had scientists. Education and indoctrination are part of their core mission. So what if credit for ideas and info were stolen. It happens all the time. Look into Einstein’s plagiarism.
As for scientism, I believe you are misunderstanding the meaning of it. Scientism is believing in theories like Darwinian evolution, anthropogenic global warming, etc. as valid theories despite significant empirical proof to the contrary, and therefore it descends to religion and not a very good one at that. Science is merely a tool for understanding the world and universe around us and taking advantage of it. If you get into really advanced math, you realize science is little more than formulaic expressions of the real world. Lol. Even the Hologram Universe concept has more credence than Flat Earth. Another point to dispute in tabublog is the strawman argument of how the author has yet to see any object exert gravity. Scientists will readily admit they don’t understand how gravity works but that it is a function of density and mass. Alright, so you failed your science courses and never took a logic class or even studied it. The ancient Greeks knew the Earth was a sphere and orbited the sun. Rome, as in the Church, decreed a geocentric solar system and a flat earth. You’ve obviously never been in an airplane either. The curvature is visible out the window. I guess Coriolis effect is just an illusion too.
How did the positioning system in WW2 work? Grid maps were notoriously inaccurate and resulted in significant “friendly-fire” incidents.
Satellites are readily visible from the ground. Amateur astronomers see them all the time. The ISS is visible with the naked eye. Try looking up some time from whatever substance has addled your critical thinking and observe the night.
17,000 mph is the necessary velocity at which to maintain orbit and prevent re-entry. Finally, space is a vacuum. There is no temperature except in the presence of thermally radiant bodies. Heat dissipation is a major issue. Once again, science for the win.
Someday, you’ll figure out this is a misinformation campaign to discredit conspiracy theories. I’ll buy the moon landings were faked long before I’ll buy this Flat Earth nonsense.

Sorry to double post but forgot to comment on the vacuum statement. Looks like you never took a class with thermodynamics as a subject. There are insulators and conductors. Conductors would allow rapid dissipation as the heat is “conducted” from a hot place to a cool place in the constant desire to reach equilibrium. This is present throughout nature as the second law of thermodynamics. An insulator, like vacuum, would contain the heat in objects making dissipation/cooling very difficult. These concepts are not hard. Please make sure you at least have a middle school level of scientific knowledge before you come to play…

After watching this yesterday, I took the guys advice to test things myself. I have protective glasses that allow me to stare directly at the sun without damaging my eyes. I put those one, and took a rough measurement of the size of the sun at mid-day (at arms length) and just did it again while it is on its way to the horizon. Tbh, I was hoping to see it shrink… but there wasn’t any noticeable difference. I admit that it was a rough measurement, but still, it should be NOTICEABLE when comparing apex vs horizon.

Simply put, the pole doesn’t pull through the earth because it’s thick and the attraction point is the literal north pole, not the center of the earth.
