“I am quite sure the Religious that claim to understand the bible and take the writing within literally rather then figuratively, will find this video very confronting. The uploading of this video was intended to offer another and in my opinion a more reasonable perspective then that offered by such fanatical religious institutions, designed to control the masses.
BTW, It’s not about the real B-days. It’s about the fact that such dates were used, it’s about the fact that it’s all figurative. Everyone knows such B-days are figurative, representative.
What’s amazing is that I have to point this out and the only reason I am bothering to do so, is because so many make this same naive limited observation and think they are discrediting this video by pointing it out, when in fact they are actually proving the very point of the entire video, that is, that the Bible is meant to be taken figuratively not Literally.

Christian religion uses Dec 25th as the date on which Jesus was born (i.e. Christmas) – Bible or not. I believe that’s the point – that the dominant world religions, like Christianity, are based on other myths that predate Christ by over a 1000 years.
The more we understand the history of religion and how the books were written, the less validity religion has.
Seeking truth is not “luciferian”. Christians are so sure they are “right”. Yet they cannot accept that if they were brought up in Syria they’d feel just as confident about Islam. If born in India, they’d likely be Hindu. It’s just societal indoctrination. The need for these delusions would all be fine, but people are still killing each other in the name of bronze-age mythologies.
We’re 300 years past the age of Copernicus. Challenging religion does not eliminate the possibility of God or a power that unites us as human beings, but the “God” that has been taught by churches and kings is not truth. It is a man made ideology that was endorsed for political reasons and control. End of comment

And another thing Just because many of you need to “believe” as you were taught and conditioned to “believe”, that the bible is to be considered factual and to be taken literally, and someone points out that it is actually figurative writings, does not mean they are say their is no God (Creator of All) It simply means you are misunderstanding and missing the true meaning of the writings.
I realize that many of you want (or need) to believe that such writing are the actual Words of God.
While this may be partially true, it should be understood, they were gods with a small “g” meaning not the Creator of All with a big “G”

I am disappointed that this site has seemed to jump on the Anti-Christian bandwagon. I think it is time for me to dump this site and find another alternative news source
Are you kidding me? There is a vastly disproportionate number of pro-Christian articles, writers, and commentators on this site. Just because the site doesn’t censor opposing viewpoints does not mean that it has “jumped on the anti-Christian bandwagon.”

This is an utterly wrong-headed assertion. It is equally wrong-headed to assert the Bible must always be taken literally. Do Redeemed Israelites drink milk from the breasts of gentile kings? Is the Messiah actually a Vine, or a Branch, or a Tree? Is He a cornerstone? Are the people of Israel actually a house?
The Bible is meant to be received as the Bible intends for itself to be received. Just as we know in personal conversation what is and what is not to be taken literally (it’s raining cats and dogs), we are expected to know when studying the Word.
Those who suggest otherwise, or that the Bible must be interpreted in one way only — as the author of the above base and foolish suggestions has just done — make themselves known by the light in which they stand.
in ancient times, all scholars of Scripture knew there are 3 levels of understand to each verse of Scripture,
The Literal Meaning, The Inner or Spiritual Meaning, and the Heavenly Meaning, and all 3 are in Harmony, it is that distinguishing feature that makes these collected Writings, “Scripture” , you cannot just decide to take only the Spiritual Meaning as valid, the Literal is just as Valid, its is both Literal and Spiritual and Heavenly, and to remove one of the 3 components, is anathema.

Every prophecy that has been fulfilled has been fulfilled to the letter and so too will be the ones that remain. You can’t say that one part of the Word is true and others aren’t. His word is true. You are suffering what the word referred to as a strong delusion and you are being used to discredit God’s word. Please for your soul’s sake take another look.

The first century Christians done none of the abominations done by false Christianity today.
The fall of Christianity can laid at the feet of the Roman Catholic church which is not the original church nor was Peter the start of it or a pope.
First century Christianity:
Kept the Israel holy days such as Passover and kept the correct observation of time dealing with weekly and high Sabbaths, not the false Sunday worship as done today.
They ate that which is prescribed as food and not abominations such as Swine.
They did not recognize Yahshua’s birth date as something to be worshiped which is not Dec 25th.

Sunday is the day Jesus rose from the dead. It is also the day He sent the Holy Ghost upon the Apostles(Pentecost/official start of the Catholic Church.) God alone changed His day from the sabbath to Sunday.
I think God has a very splendid way of bringing us to His Word. When God is in it it truly does seem very simple. I feel that the world has become a large group of people who to to make Gods Word line up with the way that they think, instead of the other way around. Jesus said “let the little children come unto me”. Not the large children, not the ones coming of age, but the “little children”. This tells me that we are making his Salvation much more harder than it needs to be.
That’s just my thoughts.
To all of the good folks out there who seem so “flippant” about our Lord, a short look into our future should tell all of you that you better start believing in something. If you think believing in yourself is enough, you’re mistaken.
Religion will always leave a bad taste in your mouth. When it comes to The Creator, a relationship based on love is His only desire.
If the God (the ones you believe it to be) doesn’t teach you the ultimate secret of the universe, it aint no God.
If it holds the secret to control you, and it is the devil. God is the truth itself and he can’t love humanity with deception.
Let’s talk about seeking truth – FACT – Muslims fleeing persecution in the middle east are converting to Christianity by the millions. Yes the truth will set you free.
