Totally agree with you. God calls what we say planets are, the wandering stars. There are no pictures of the planets showing any form of a globe. Through optical telescopes, all you can see is shimmering light. I believe that the so called Hubble telescope is not optical but views with infrared so all pictures you see are made up.

Well I won’t pretend to know or believe anything anymore but, I can tell you that I have looked through a privately owned, very nice and very expensive telescope at both Saturn and Jupiter and there they were. Both looked exactly like they do in photos. Everyone seems to know everything these days yet are all in disagreement so I give up. Don’t like it here, just want to go home. Lol

I have a Meade 780 and all I can see is shimmering light, like floating rainbows. It’s the same with stars or planets so what are you and disinfo agent Rain using?

I’ve seen Saturns rings. Get a real telescope and you see more then light shimmering.
Must be the type of glass they use in these telescopes because in my cheap one the moon does not look very impressive and thats in our back garden and all the far off planets just looked like a mussy pea to me.
These photos are taken using long exposure so i would not like to say that they look the same in real life but we are still talking a few light hours away and not 36,000 light years to the center of the milkyway where this black hole is that everyone thinks can be seen and has been photoed, it’s not, never will be unless you had xray vision.
We cannot even see moon rovers left on the moon and thats only 11 light seconds away and the images we are being feed are coming from computer simulations but many people think they were taken with a camera.

I love this topic. A very complex question, indeed. I will do my best to address a couple of your concerns. First of all, I would like to make clear that I do not conform to any institutionalized form of religious indoctrination. Nor do I believe in a flesh and blood god who physically resembles a person. In my opinion, it is the personification of God that creates delusions of ethnic/tribal superiority. For example, the belief that God was a white, or black male figure, or that God chose a specific group of people to be his representatives on earth, gives rise to megalomaniacal delusions of supremacy, which in turn leads to oppression, societal division and war.
In my mind, Institutionalized religions serve the purpose of keeping the masses divided, as a divided population is much easier to control than a united population. Most major religions preach that God is something, or someone, that exists outside of ourselves, which effectively sends their adherents on a never ending and very confusing wild goose chase. The intelligent living spirit of the creator resides within all living things. If it were not so, we would not exist. Whether we choose to believe it or not is irrelevant.
The way I see it, God is the living universe. A creative living spirit that gives rise to all forms of life from the microscopic to the macrocosmic, as a means to experience every possible aspect and circumstance of every level of its own creation simultaneously, making the creator all knowing and omnipresent.
The evidence to support the idea that a single intelligent creative spirit is responsible for all creation can be viewed in the precise geometric proportions and similarities shared by all levels of creation, from atoms to galaxies. A simple example is the similarities between an atom and our solar system, with the sun being the proton and the planets revolving around it being the electrons. Another way to look at it, is that humans have intentionally designed and created many sophisticated things over the years, yet nothing humans have ever created can be compared to the complexity of even a single living microscopic cell.
Science has determined that reality is indeed based on cause and effect. Therefore, science itself destroys the idea that life is the result of random genetic mutations. Every effect has it’s cause. Whether or not humans understand the causes of certain effects is irrelevant. Our 3rd dimensional reality is governed by the electromagnetic frequencies that can be perceived by our senses. This only allows humans to perceive roughly 2% of the big picture. Who can say that there is no fourth dimension, governed by a higher set of electromagnetic frequencies which cannot be perceived by our 3rd dimensional senses? That being said, is it not possible that the lives we lead in the third dimension, determine the existence we inherit in the fourth dimension? Maybe those who profit from fear, suffering and war in the third dimension will be incarnated as the lowest form of life in the fourth dimension?
All physical things in nature are created by the invisible. The cellular replication and reproduction that is responsible for creating our physical bodies occurs according to what computer programmers refer to as a binary sequence. There is nothing random about it. Science also tells us that energy is not created, nor can it be destroyed. Energy is harnessed and used. After being used, this energy does not cease to exist, even though in many cases the energy cannot be perceived after it’s use. We ourselves are energy on a fundamental level, therefore after our physical body dies, our energy remains. We may not fully understand where our essence goes, yet it remains indefinitely. We are eternal.
So to get back to your question, “How can a god fail so miserably with humans?”, it must be taken into account that humans are born with the ability to express free will. This provides all of us with the opportunity to choose whether we will serve creation, or serve destruction. We face this choice with every thought we entertain, with every word we speak and with every decision we make. We are given the choice to work in cooperation with all that is, in service of creation, or to compete with all that is, in service of the self. The selfish path leads to destruction. Until this lesson is learned both individually and collectively, we will continue to experience the rotten fruits of our individual and collective labours.
The idea that God is responsible for the evil that men do, serves to deflect from our individual and collective responsibility. By blaming anything other than ourselves for our downfalls, we will continue to make the same mistakes. If God were to intervene at every instance where humans were making mistakes, we would not have freewill and we would learn nothing. Therefore, what would be the point?
So, did God fail miserably with humans, or have we as humans miserably failed ourselves and our creator?
