There isn’t much that the Obama/Hillary duo and Donald Trump agree about. However they are all in agreement and on record that the system is rigged. (1).
“The System” is a generic term that is used to denote dishonesty or unfairness that some feel exists through every strata of American political structure starting with the selection of candidates and lasting until the announcement of the winners. Generally, those who lose or receive less are the first to claim “the system is rigged” against them or their side.
Obama claims that when non-Democrats denounce the rigged system, they are undermining the stability of our political processes. Obama is wrong. The danger to our republic is not denouncing the wrong, but covering up, ignoring or justifying the rigged process; doing those things increases the likelihood of continued and escalating abuses. For example, if a person has high blood pressure but does not deal with it, the individual does not get better; he or she gets worse and may die a premature death. That is just elementary-school age logic; and that is a reasoning skill that, to our nation’s detriment, is woefully absent (by choice for political and financial gain) in Mr. Obama.
The most sacred right we have as citizens in a republic is the right to our protected vote. When the integrity of the voting process is compromised, that is a serious matter. There is no doubt that the integrity of the voting process is compromised. The media often fails because they take on the role of an advocate for one candidate over another to the point of misrepresenting the truth (lying) or covering up the truth. Illegal aliens vote. Dead people vote. Some people vote twice or more. Paper votes are thrown away. Electronic voting machines are sometimes programmed to change votes from one candidate to the other or ignore some or all of the votes casts for a particular candidate. (2).
Democrats, such as Obama and Hillary, recently claimed that voter fraud is done by only a few and, therefore, an insignificant consideration. Many Republican and Independent voters disagree stating that voter fraud is widespread and/or that the percentage of voter fraud may be low by some people’s estimate, but it is still serious. Let me put it this way — according to the FBI’s 2,014 statistics “the probability that an American woman is raped in her lifetime is 2.6 percent….” (3).
According to the logic of Democrats, 2.6% is a small percentage and insignificant. (4). However, if you are or your loved one is part of the 2.6% then rape is a serious issue.
Claims of voter fraud ranging from less than 1% to as high as 13% exist. (5). My own estimate of voter fraud in swing states is 17%. The reality is we do not know the true extent of voter fraud and that is frightening.
There are severe laws against voter fraud and, even though seldom enforced, those laws mean the lawmakers think voter fraud is possible or probable. Everyone agrees that the voting system is not perfect; nothing is perfect. To what degree it is imperfect and/or rigged is unknown because the voting system is not uniformly regulated by any universally trusted source — and that is a problem.
It is against federal law for non-citizens to vote. (6). However, some States permit it and in some States where it is not officially permitted, it is permitted in some precincts. The federal government (Obama administration) does not enforce this federal law but actively encourages breaking this federal law. It is surmised that most non-citizens vote Democrat (and that is why Democrats and the Obama administration does not enforce the voting law forbidding non-citizens to vote).
In many places no ID is required to vote and it is surmised that those who do not show ID usually vote Democrat. Democrats claim that the requirement to show ID is an undue hardship on black people because many black people do not have and/or it is impossible for them to secure valid identification. That is not only an idiotic assumption, but racist also. Some people vote twice or more. It is surmised that the majority of those who vote twice vote Democrat. Dead people tend to vote Democrat. Sometimes more people vote in a county than there are people living in that county.
Is that a rigged, dishonest or untrustworthy system? By anyone’s standard (except some, many or the majority of Democrats) the answer is yes. By any honest standard, the answer is yes. What is the real problem? The real problem is that some, many or the majority of Democrats are dishonest people. Until that changes (don’t hold your breath) or until there is foolproof oversight of voting integrity, there will always be a rigged voting process. To what degree is the voting process rigged? Who knows?
Traditionally, the loser immediately or eventually accepts the outcome of the election. What else can they do? You cannot validate the accuracy of a system that has inadequate checks and balances.
Recent Wikileaks emails reveal the system was rigged against Bernie Sanders. And as a result of that, Bernie Sanders received an apology from the Democratic National Convention and Debbie Wasserman lost her job. (7).
Al Gore challenged the validity of the results of the 2,000 presidential election. Regarding the 2,000 election results Hillary Clinton insinuated that President Bush was not legally elected. She said he was “selected and not elected.” (8).
Jeb Bush was charged in 2,000 by the Civil Rights Commission for unfair voting practices. (9).
The current news is fraught with examples of early voting discrepancies which can accurately be defined as rigged. (10). We now know that Obama is linked to voter fraud. (11).
“Donald Trump has said publicly that he fears the next election will be rigged. Based both on technical capability and recent history, Trump’s concerns are not unfounded…. A recent study by Stanford University proved that Hillary Clinton’s campaign rigged the system to steal the nomination from Bernie Sanders. What was done to Bernie Sanders in Wisconsin is stunning. Why would the Clinton‘s not cheat again?” (12).
