Don’t you just love these smoking gun stories around here? Unfortunately none of them have the smoking gun. Its bad when you have allot of story titles promising to have the low down when all they have is speculation and no substance. Too many of these stories here are a waste of reader’s time since those stories are not delivering the content they claim. Perhaps these stories are from misinformation artist filling the Internet with disinformation to confuse the issues and to sway the narrative of the real issues.
I am thinking that allot of these stories are merely to obtain clicks. I think that they are to generate allot of visitors to obtain a high tally on page view statistics. And so, I suspect that the author of such stories will resort to any trick they can to obtain views. I do not care so much for clicks as I do perhaps a few who relate to what I say. If a story sticks with them, and they realize it is credible then in the long run a soul will obtain a following. Matt Drudge did not obtain his following by putting our misinformation, he maintains his credibility and hence maintains his audience. If you do not care for credibility then in the long run you will obtain a bad name. Resorting to tricks, by claiming to have content in your story title that your article does not deliver does earn you a bad reputation.
Anyways don’t you just hate these sensational story titles to stories that fail to deliver the substance and content the title claims?
