Black Friday madness in New Jersey sees person shot dead outside Macy’s

Black Friday madness in New Jersey sees person shot dead outside Macy’s while separate incidents in New Jersey, Nevada and Tennessee as Black Friday kicked off. A man was fatally shot and his brother was wounded in a shooting outside of a Macy’s in New Jersey on Friday morning while another was shot dead in an apparent road rage incident in a Walmart parking lot in Nevada on Thursday. A fourth person suffered a gunshot wound on Thursday at a mall in Tennessee as shoppers were taking part in early Black Friday sales.

Amid Black Friday madness, cellphone footage from various stores showed shoppers fighting over items in a bid to score shopping deals. In video apparently recorded inside a Walmart in Bainbridge, Georgia, showed shoppers fighting over towels that were on sale for $1.60 during the Black Friday rush on Thursday. At one point, one woman so eager to get her hands on a towels that she fell into the box. Meanwhile, shoppers at a Walmart in Houston broke into an all-out melee on Black Friday, as customers battled it out for some $99 kiddie convertibles.

As shoppers got an early start on Thursday, it seemed more shoppers were busy online as crowds seemed smaller than last year as a few shootings took place across the country during Black Friday sales. A man was shot dead and his brother was wounded at a Macy’s store in New Jersey during an early morning shooting on Friday. On Thursday, a person was shot dead in a road rage incident in a Walmart parking lot in Reno, Nevada, police said a man suffered a gunshot wound after shots were fired at Wolfchase Galleria Mall in Memphis, Tennessee on Thursday around 11.15pm. Black Friday online sales are expected to hit $3billion for the first time ever as an increase in mobile shopping may bring in a record-breaking $1billion alone

In New Jersey, the shooting that outside a Macy’s department store that left one man dead occurred around 1am on Friday at the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing as people lined up outside the mall for door-buster deals. A 20-year-old Atlantic City man was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene while his 26-year-old brother, from Clayton, was shot in the leg and listed in stable condition at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. Officials did not immediately say what sparked the shooting or if they had any suspects. One shopper who was at the scene and has been coming out for Black Friday shopping for the last ten years said the shooting was sad, adding that Black Friday is ‘getting scary now,’ according to CBS Philly.

More than 15 evidence markers were laid down in the parking lot and an SUV with bullet holes was towed away around 7am on Friday.  The Macy’s store had opened at 5pm on Thursday before the mall closed at midnight and reopened to shoppers at 6am. Meanwhile in Nevada on Thursday, a person was shot dead in a road rage incident in a Walmart parking lot in Reno, police said. The shooting occurred around 6pm at the Walmart on East Second Street after there was apparently a dispute over a parking spot, according to KOLO. Police and the FBI are investigating the Thanksgiving shooting as authorities search for a dark-colored Toyota Camry or Corolla that was driven by a driver described as a light-skinned black male. In Tennessee, a man suffered a gunshot wound after shots were fired at Wolfchase Galleria Mall in Memphis on Thursday around 11.15pm as shoppers were looking to score Black Friday deals at the mall. The incident occurred in the parking lot outside the food court area after witnesses said a suspect fired several shots and then fled in a Ford Mustang, according to WREG.

Initial reports indicated no one was injured but a man showed up at Baptist Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound. Three suspects are now in custody and officers have since collected shell casings from the scene. Between 2006 and 2014, there have reportedly been seven deaths and 98 injuries during Black Friday shopping. The shootings in New Jersey and Nevada occurred as shoppers eager to bag a bargain began their spending sprees as some stores across the U.S. kicked off their sales on Thursday afternoon. On Friday, most stores opened their doors around 6am for what is still one of the busiest days of the year, even as the start of the holiday season edges ever earlier. Some stores, including #Sears, #BassBroShops, #DicksSportingGoods and #Bealls opened as early as 5am while stores such as #HobbyLobby and some #Nordstrom locations had a later start at 8am. Many stores are offering the same deals as in previous years, like $19.99 boots that remain a big attraction, cashmere sweaters, and sheets. For some shoppers, big #discounts on #electronics are the draw. Stores like #Macy’s, #Walmart, #Target and more were open on Thursday evening in what they hope will be a new holiday tradition and closed for the night before reopening on Friday. Several shoppers were out looking for bargains on TVs.

Black Friday violence: Shootings at Nevada Walmart, New Jersey Macy’s, Tennessee mall kill 2, injure 2

At least six people were shot across the country during Black Friday sales, including a Walmart customer who died in a fight over a parking space.

Four separate shootings — at a New Jersey Macy’s, two Tennessee malls and a Nevada Walmart — killed two people and wounded four more. All the attacks happened outside of the stores as holiday shoppers inside loaded up on door busters and deals.

Demond Cottman, 20, was shot and killed around 1 a.m. in front of a mall in Mays Landing, CBS Philadelphia reported.

His brother, Shadi Cottman, was also injured when the shooting broke out at Hamilton Mall, in the parking lot next to the Macy’s store.

Police haven’t released any information about suspects or detailed a possible motive.

Macy’s Black Friday sales started Friday evening, and the store was open at the time of the shooting. The rest of the mall did not open to shoppers until 6 a.m.

In Reno, a Walmart shopper was shot and killed just minutes after Black Friday door busters began on Thursday night.

Police said the unidentified 33-year-old victim was gunned down at 6:05 p.m. in a driveway leading up to the superstore, KOLO TV reported. The gunman and his victim were fighting over a parking spot, officials said.

The shooter — described as a black man in a dark-colored Toyota, with damage to the side windows and brake lights — fled the scene.

While police described the shooting as a road rage incident unrelated to any Black Friday shopping, Walmart’s door busters began at 6 p.m. Thursday.

A Tennessee man was wounded in a Thursday night shooting in front of Memphis’s Wolfchase Galleria Mall. Witnesses said a suspect fired several shots in the parking lot and then sped off in a red Ford Mustang, WREG reported.

The mall was open at the time of the shooting, with many stores offering Black Friday sales a day early.

Police have not identified the victim, provided any details about a possible suspect or said what led up to the shooting.

Two more Tennesseans were wounded when gunfire erupted outside a mall in Chattanooga Friday afternoon after a fight inside, according to WRCB

Police, who had one suspect in custody Friday night, said neither victim had life-threatening injuries, and that the “disorder” was not shopping-related.

Shame indeed!!!. The real shame is that Americans do not realize what’s really going on here regarding these “Black” sale days. Look I’m not going to make any allies here by stating the fact that X-mass is a pagan Holiday, and I don’t want to disrespect Christ name by putting the word Mass on the end of it, but that’s another story for a different day.. (Do the research)http://www.remnantofgod.org/xmas.htm….. Anyway what I’m getting at is this: I’m old enough to remember when things weren’t always like this. When I was a kid Halloween stuff was put out in the stores probably in late September- early October, and then THANKSGIVING decorations and wares would come out maybe around the same time or a little after, and then the X_Mass stuff would follow soon after that. But have you noticed in the last five or six years or so that the Halloween stuff and the X-Mass stuff starts coming out together in mid September now?? And that THANKSGIVING seems to just get passed over and somewhat dismissed…What’s up with that?. Also there was No such thing as “Black” Thursday sales back then. THANKSGIVING was THANKSGIVING, a peaceful day for American family’s to spend time together, give thanks and enjoy good food together throughout the day and in to the evening, a true American holiday started by the Pr0testant Christians who landed at Plymouth rock. But now with “Black Thursday people are leaving their family gatherings to go and join the mob scene at Mart Law so that they can get that great deal on a new smart TV or i pad. So what’s going on?.. Well if you ask me what’s going on, I would say that THANKSGIVING is purposely being squeezed out by these Godless corporations to push the two major pagan holidays Halloween and X_Mass, and to eventually do away with the true American holiday founded in Christianity. OK maybe that’s a bit of a stretch at this point, but what about in ten years from now or fifteen years from now, the way that things are trending It wouldn’t surprise me a bit. So who is behind this evil social engineering?.. well the usual suspects I suspect ,the Pr0testant hating R0man cath0lic church and the Je$uit run corporations, who else?

I just want to add also that calling THANKSGIVING “Black Thursday is also a disrespectful verbal smear against what was once a great American holiday, and turning this time into a violent, greedy, lawless spectacle where in dozens of people get hurt and some even trampled to death is a greedy disgraceful act perpetrated by these greedy corporations who at one time used to close down for THANKSGIVING so that their employees could be with their families. DISGRACEFUL!!!

Whenever the word “shame” is used, I snicker. Shame, really? We kill our own children! We elevate sex over faith in true love. We think that getting away with almost any sin is perfectly moral as long as we are not caught. We are a deceived nation but rioting over material grabs in this country is rare. It happens, but I’ve done black Friday almost every year since the 90′s. In the circles I’ve traveled I’ve not seen violence, crabbiness yes, but not violence. These shootings might be happening over other reasons too, and the attitudes displayed didn’t happen over night.

Anytime I hear that its the fault of Catholics or the Jews I really, really doubt the validity of those claims. These people groups are in full view, a beacon on a hill. So…yes, lots of wrong things happen there. Yes, maybe even unto the fall of human kind, but that is not all that went on to cause our confusion. Its more complicated than that! “It is easier to believe an uncomplicated lie than a knotted up, complicated truth.”

I agree with most of your post, however I did not use the word “cath0lics”… The R0man cath0lic church and the */atican is not the same thing as “cath0lics” I’m not blaming “cath0lics on an individual basis per se for these deliberately caused social ills anymore than I’m blaming all of the apostate so called “Pr0testant” Christians that number in the millions in the U.S. , and who think that celebrating Halloween, X_Mass and Easter are perfectly acceptable to God when in fact the origins of these holidays are very much rooted in paganism. You would do well to study up on the R0man catholic church, the Je$uit 0rder and the */atican, because if you did you would discover as I have, that it is undoubtedly the dark force behind the NW0. It is not of the true Biblical Christianity of Jesus Christ, it is a global religious, political, economic system that is now in almost complete control of the world, thanks mostly to apostate Christian pastors and their ignorant flocks.
