(Before It's News)

by Jonathan Israel, www.ConnectionMagazine.org

The idea that people must go to a certain town or a particular building to find the Lord is FALSE. Many are deceived into believing that if they just frequent a certain place, then they are in the presence of the Lord and/or a member of His body. THIS IS A GREAT DELUSION!

When I lived and worked in Jerusalem, I was just getting conversational in Hebrew when my wife and I decided to leave Israel to be closer to our adult children. I learned that the Hebrew word for house is ‘beit’. You are likely familiar with the town of Beit- Lechem’. Americans pronounce it as ‘Beth-lehem’.

Lechem is the hebrew word for bread. So, Beth-lehem means ‘House of Bread’ in Hebrew. Yes! The ‘Bread of Life’ was born there.

The Hebrew word for ‘Lord’ is ‘El’. So, the town of ‘Beit-El’, which Americans pronounce as Beth-El, means ‘House of the Lord’.

Here is a warning from the Lord;

Amos 5:5, This is what the Lord says to Israel: “But DO NOT SEEK BETHEL, …Bethel shall come to nought.”

Do not seek buildings or places! For thus saith the Lord “SEEK ME, and you shall live:”

Acts 17:24, “”God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.”

YOU WERE WARNED BY JESUS/YAHSHUA!

Matthew 24:26, Jesus said, “Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, He is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.”

SO, WHERE CAN WE FIND THE LORD NOW?

1 Corinthians 3:16, Know ye not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

1 Corinthians 3:9, “you are God’s building.

AREN’T WE SUPPOSE TO MEET WITH OTHER FOLLOWERS?

Matthew 18:20, JESUS SAID “For where TWO OR THREE are gathered together in my name, there I AM in the midst of them.”

Micah chapter 3 prophecies the end of ‘Christian church’ as we know it, and Micah 4 prophesies what Jesus will do with His true followers.

Now you can ignore the rejection that ‘church goers’ heap on Holy Spirit-filled followers of Jesus who left the delusion because they desired something much more than man’s tradition, biblical illiteracy, religious pride and false comfort.
