Trump Receives First Check As Judge Halts Muslim Ban

“No one is above the law, not even the President.” Those are the words of the federal judge who put a halt to Trump’s executive order immigration ban on Friday. This is a major step for the resistance movement against Donald Trump as many were wondering if all of the protests and opposition would get anything done. It is a comfort to those citizens who feared Trump was acting without any checks and balances.

Barred Passengers Board US-Bound Flights

Friday night all bets were off as President Donald Trumps executive order was shot down when U.S. District Senior Judge James Robart issued an order Friday night immediately lifting a ban that sought to block people from seven majority-Muslim countries, or any refugees, from entering the country. As expected the Trump administration went into immediate action. President Trump also felt the need to chime in, tweeting “The opinion of this so-called judge, which essentially takes law-enforcement away from our country, is ridiculous and will be overturned”
