It's Far From Over! Oroville Dam 7 Horrific Days of Rain Coming With a Quake Alert. Prepare! (Important Videos)

‘It’s just another problem they don’t need to have’: Incoming storms bring powerful wind and rain. And to top things off, California is on earthquake alert. WTH!

Oroville Dam is expecting 7 days of rain so pray the Dam will hold. Keep in mind how the traffic was with the last evacuation. PLAN AHEAD! You do not want to be stuck in gridlock when the dam breaks and releases a freaking tidal wave!

In some ways, the efforts to make repairs to the damaged emergency spillway at the Oroville Dam are a race against time.

Forecasters say Monday and Tuesday should be dry. But on Wednesday, more rain is possible. And the wet weather is expected to continue into the weekend.

The rain is likely to increase water levels at Lake Oroville. Sunday night, officials were able to send water out of the damaged main spillway, taking pressure off the emergency spillway. Workers plan to make repairs to the emergency spillway beginning Monday.

The main spillway was damaged — officials say the cost could reach $200 million or more — after a series of record rain and snow storms swelled the reservoir.

After five years of drought, Northern California has experienced one of the wettest winters on record.

Even after Lake Oroville’s water level is reduced by a targeted 50 feet, water managers intend to further drain the reservoir so that it can absorb major rain storms and spring snowmelt, according to state planning documents.

The most recent 10-day forecast calls for water levels to be dropped 60 feet below the lake’s maximum of 901 feet, which would give it the ability to hold nearly 1 million acre-feet of water before overtopping a damaged emergency spillway that is still undergoing temporary repairs.

A joint plan created by the Department of Water Resources, Cal Fire and the Butte County Sheriff’s Office calls for the reduction of water releases down the reservoir’s main spillway later in the week. Water has been coursing down the damaged spillway at a rate of 100,000 cubic feet per second but will taper off to a third of that by late Friday, according to the plan.

A new series of storms forecast to arrive late Wednesday is expected to last through the weekend. Likewise, a cooling trend will drop more snowfall in the Sierra.

Officials hope to reduce the lake level to below 840 feet by next Wednesday. That level falls below what engineering documents show is normally required for flood control in wet weather. The biggest surge in water reaching the lake from the Feather Basin is forecast to arrive Tuesday, according to the planning documents.

With the mandatory evacuation order for the Feather River lifted, life in Oroville is returning to normal. As a result, the Gold Country Casino and Hotel — which has served as housing for emergency work crews — is now asking contract workers to leave by Friday so the hotel can honor prior reservations.

The workers can return Monday. The state also is operating a less luxurious emergency base camp nearby with meals provided by inmates on state firefighting crews.

There’s something strange going on with this dam. On all the youtube live feeds for the last couple days there have been tons of people speaking (typing) in Russian! I have never seen this before on live feeds. Then there is this “Russian Spy ship” off the coast. I wonder if they aren’t going to blow that dam and try to blame it on the Russians. Perhaps also try to tie it to the Trump administration. Also, if this dam goes, I feel that it will do it on Friday.

I’ve watched many youtube live streams on Oroville, haven’t seen one person typing in Russian.

          Me neither.

yes I have noticed the Russian thing too!! If you go to you tube and look at all the different channels on the side there are loads of them with Russian writing, don’t know how you can miss them. I wondered what was going on. Very strange!

To briefly answer your concerns RT or Russian Today, a Russian owned news network based in Washington DC with American programing like Larry King’s “Politicking,” and shows such as the news with former MSNBC correspondent Ed Schultz.

RT provides a combination of American news reported by Russian reporters as well a some Russian opinion. RT has been reporting on the damn incident. Their Russian speaking news crews are there on site. That would probably be the Russians you’re speaking of. Be careful not to fall into the Progressive trap believing that there is a Russian boogieman hiding under every rock. There really is a legitimately benign reason for what you observed.

        LISA,
thank you so very much for reporting on this subject. As someone living downstream from Oroville Dam in Sacramento I truly appreciate you bringing this to the attention of the public. Most understand that there is a significant problem at the dam but remain oblivious as to the purposeful neglect that has resulted in this possible, perhaps even probable catastrophe. The government knew there was a problem and they intentionally did nothing about it.

Here is what we’re up against. In the greater Sacramento area due to the last heavy rainfall we have recently experienced a number of levee breaches. The Sacramento River’s levees are for the most part NOT MAINTAINED and full of squirrel holes, cracks and erosion. As a result of runoff the water levels are currently high and increasing. A surge of water coming from the Feather River could easily place Sacramento region in significant danger of widespread flooding. The elevation in many populated areas is way below the current water level. A significant breach could put us in the Hurricane Katrina category of destruction. The feds have been warning of such a scenario for several years already.

What I found amazingly weird was how the pregnant Illuminati princess Beyonce’ did a gig dressed half naked in a water goddess outfit at the time the spillways was eroding https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdA8qX1KOAw I found the timing of this very distasteful if not down right insulting to those 180,000 people who had to abandon their home escaping possible flood waters.

Some of the lyrics where pretty strange like for instance at one point in the song she sings, “we built a castle it washed away” and in another part she kind of whispers “There is a curse that will be broken one thousand girls raise their arms. Now the reconciliation is possible if we’re gonna heal, let it be glorious!” As a Christian knowing where we are in time this sent chills up my spine wondering if this was some kind of Satanic ritual and the dam is a blood sacrifice. It’s probably my science fiction loving imagination chiming in, nevertheless the timing of the two events seems unbelievably odd.

        Anyway, thank again Lisa,

        A Student of the Word

PS They just today called in assistance of the National Guard. I suspect northern California may be posturing for martial law once the dam breaks.
