In March 2016, the Williams family fell in love with a beautiful house in a picturesque neighborhood in Memphis, Tennessee. They rented it and moved in.

At first, the dream home was perfect for the couple and their 15-year-old daughter, Tretavia. But they had no idea the big move was about to completely backfire.

Within months, Tretavia was suffering from constant headaches. Her head was suddenly pounding from sunrise to sunset, but doctors didn’t know what was causing them.

In addition to the painful headaches, the teenage experienced bad nosebleeds and mysterious itchy, red bumps all over her body. She says she had to make frequent trips to the hospital. Still, she and her family had no answers.

Then in May 2017, over a year after the Williams family moved into their new home, Tretavia’s parents discovered what was causing her slew of strange health problems.

The culprit had been hiding in the walls the whole time, painted and caulked over before they moved in.
