The Great American Eclipse is here!   It is all over the news….how to view it and with what.  Where to go to see it etc. etc.    How to avoid traffic jams as it is predicted to become the most watched cosmic event in human history.  But at the same time, the energies leading up to this Eclipse have been quit chaotic and in some instances almost/most volatile.  We can see this in our own lives and also around the World.  All you have to do is turn on the news for a few minutes.  The energies have been quit intense and are not easy for the body to handle.  A feeling of low energy, no motivation, and no direction…..are almost common at this time.  There is also a sense of emotional detachment…a feeling of being removed from reality.  Just remember that the body is trying to embody lots of intense, chaotic, and powerful energies. 

This Great American Eclipse is a total Eclipse that travels clear Across the United States, from coast to coast in a narrow band of totality! Solar Eclipse’s over very populated areas are relatively rare….which is another reason this Eclipse is headline news.   The more total the eclipse is the more intense the astrological effect is.  The location, from which an eclipse is visible, shows us areas where the world needs changes…. in society, cultures or leadership.

This  will be the first total Solar Eclipse to be visible coast-to-coast in the U.S. in nearly 100 years…the last time was in June 1918.  The August 21^st Solar Eclipse is also the first total Solar Eclipse to be visible in totality….only from the U.S., since the nation was founded in 1776.  The next total Solar Eclipse to overshadow the U.S. is in 2024.  Solar Eclipses can create new beginnings and bright new opportunities.

An eclipse will create Astrological and Energetic effects for everyone.  If you actually get to witness this Solar Eclipse/New Moon in its totality….it will move you in a deep way….clear down to your Soul! 

This Great American Eclipse will be a major turning point for the United States, as we are at a crossroads in American history.  The Total Eclipse not only travels clear across the United States…but it also falls on (activates) President Trump’s Ascendant/Mars conjunction and opposes the Moon of the United States!   Activating major change in the U.S.   This doesn’t have to be bad or unsettling….but there are choices that need to be made. Things are being put right in our faces….so we can’t miss them….we have to look at them, even if we don’t want to.  The fact that this Solar Eclipse is a North Node Eclipse is also an indicator that it is time for a new direction.  Eclipses bring and trigger opportunities for change.  President Trump also was  born on the day of a Lunar Eclipse.  This makes him even more sensitive to the energies of this Leo Solar Eclipse.

This Great American Eclipse also falls on the Star Regulus!  The Star Regulus in the constellation of Leo.   Regulus is said to be the Lions Heart!  Regulus is also one of four Royal Stars and helps guide humanity’s evolution….it is about humanity’s shift into becoming heart centered.   It has also been associated with kings and kingship.  In the past..long ago…an Eclipse on Regulus would have been an omen for the fall of a King/Queen.   With Regulus being the Lions Heart…..opening of our Heart… is accented during this Leo Solar Eclipse.  Thinking with the Heart….coming from the Heart is extremely important at this time.  

Eclipses in general….are a powerful pin point of energy that affects your own Natal chart (and the Earth/humanity chart) in a certain area (the degrees of the Eclipse – 28 degrees of Leo), for up to 6 months and sometimes longer.  It creates a “blip/wobble”, or a disruption in time, energy, and the natural flow of light and dark.  It also stirs up what is in our subconscious, bringing it into consciousness.  An Eclipse opens a portal to the Universe, where a stream of knowledge, new codes and information can be down loaded from the Universe along with Evolutionary instructions … into our consciousness and subconscious.  It is like an upgrade.   Eclipse’s can also affect the magneto-receptors in our DNA, along with radio waves, X-ray’s, etc., and they also affect our Pineal Gland.   They also activate shifts in the electromagnetic fields of the Earth itself and all of its inhabitants.  During an Eclipse, a portal to the Universe is opened and information, thoughts, ideas and Evolutionary instructions…. can be downloaded from the Universe at that time. Solar eclipses are extra-powerful New Moons…and activate deep emotions in both your personal life, as well as the collective unconscious. Eclipses are accelerated catalysts, and they are either breakdowns and/or breakthrough events. Eclipses are doorways to alternative realities….They are like a Wild Card…you are never sure how it will play out.   They also can trigger major events…good and bad….and often times are associated with the deaths of people in the public eye. It is a time to go outside (if you can) look up and connect with the sky.  If you are in the path of totality during a Solar Eclipse….the sky will turn dark in the middle of the day….the temperature will drop, the stars will appear, the animals get quiet etc.

 If you can’t see the Eclipse, it is ok…you will still receive the energies…..just be still and listen.  It is a time to open to the universe, with your guidance, and Feel the energy and down loads as the portal is open during this Eclipse. It is a time to be quiet and Listen…..what do you hear?  What visions are you receiving?  What do you feel?  If you are asleep or busy during the Eclipse….know that your Guidance will make sure you receive the down loads and messages that are important for your Soul growth…if you ask them.  Then the next day….mediate and ask your guidance to bring to you what down loads and messages you need to know for yourself, and for all humanity, so we can continue to evolve. 

The Great American Eclipse is actually happening on a Leo New Moon…making it a very powerful New Moon on steroids.  Leo represents royalty, leaders, presidents and famous people.   When there is a Leo Solar Eclipse…it can be a time of endings…..a time when famous people, leaders may pass.  It can be a time of major changes, many public changes.   

Leo is also the “happy” energy, and it is about the “Big Heart”.  The Heart, which is the new mind.   The Heart is about Love.  Leo is warm and generous…and  those who embody the higher energies of  Leo, come from the Heart.  Spiritually, Leo is about living from one’s center, one’s Heart.  The Leo Sun is the physical Heart and the Leo Moon is the emotional Heart!  This New Moon in Leo is an opportunity for the physical Heart and the emotional Heart….to become one, and to open up fully…..as we move into and co-create the “New”.    Wow….what a powerful Leo New Moon/Solar Eclipse!

New Moons mark the beginning of a new cycle. New Moons are also the most spiritual and intuitive moons of the whole Lunar cycle. During  the New Moon period….it is as if we are being blanketed in the darkest and most star filled mysteries of  the nights. New Moons create a stillness in time…the dark of the night…mystically giving us the ability to easily travel back… and listen to our Souls  message’s, while “seeing” all the new possibilities.  It is a wonderful time to manifest, meditate and create!  Each New Moon brings with it a down load of evolutionary energies that give us the knowledge to create a beautiful future.                                         

Leo energy is also about creating……and your ability to create your future is extremely powerful at this New Moon.    Remember that creativity isn’t just about art…..we can create in many different ways…..art is only one of those ways.  Creating a memory…creating fun….using your innocence and curiosity to create joy!  Creativity thrives on love and comes from our Heart. What creative changes in many areas, can you make this month?  Especially centering around Love.  The energies of this New Moon/Solar Eclipse can also bring about increases in consciousness, confidence, and emotional healing. Leo energy can also take us on a journey of “Self Discovery”.   Watch out for the grayer energies of Leo….those of entitlement, greatness and ego…..with this Leo New Moon/Solar Eclipse….as you don’t want to manifest those energies.   Use the positive and inspiring energies of Leo, to bring about more love and creativity.  Remember…Leo is also about the simplicity of childhood….honoring the child within you.  It is time to play, have fun, be spontaneous, and fall in love all over again……   Listen to the wisdom of the child within you.

Leo is also the sign of Kings and Queens.  So as you are creating fun and are inviting your friends and family over…..be sure to extend good hospitality to all those Souls that are sent to you. This New Leo Moon/Solar Eclipse is encouraging us to not only open our hearts, but to also make efforts to Follow our Hearts.  Even if you have to take a risk or two.  Let’s manifest and creatively surround both them and ourselves…..with the high energies of Leo! The Universe is making sure that we don’t miss the opportunity to have fun, be joyful, play and create, as we open up our Harts to all……    Lets also manifest and create a peaceful community…..a place, a world where we can be joyful. 

This Leo New Moon/Solar Eclipse also has the North Node (the collective’s soul’s intent) and Mars with it!   Of course the Leo New Moon conjunct the North Node is accenting Love, and opening of the Heart in all areas!  The Heart is the new mind!!   However we do have Mars there also.  Mars can bring in passion and action, to help us achieve the goal of the North Node.  However it could also bring in anger, war, etc.  So use the creativity of Leo and manifest that Love and Heart energy be sent out into the World and the collective!

This Leo New Moon/Solar Eclipse is also happening on the back drop of a Cardinal Grand Cross!   This can bring about radical evolution, and radical change.  The Cardinal Grand Cross consists of Pluto in Capricorn, Uranus/Eris in Aries, Venus/Ceres in Cancer, and Jupiter in Libra!  All in Cardinal energy which is birthing of new, change and urgency.   

Lets start with Uranus/Eris…..this is an extremely powerful conjunction.…. that will be around for a while. Uranus is the constant of change.  Its energy is like lightning bolts coming from any direction.   Like Earthquakes suddenly happening with no warning.etc. Uranus is saying…..things need to Change Now!  Eris is a newer planet a little beyond Pluto and has been classified as a Dwarf planet, along with Ceres and Pluto.  Remember Dwarf planets are still planets. Just like Dwarf Humans are still human.   Eris’s energy is the energy of Discord and Chaos. Eris and Uranus both can get riled up whenever there is injustice.  Doesn’t matter where it is or who it may involve. Eris is also a “wild” card!   They both are compelled to do the right thing for all humanity! Uranus and Eris are both in Aries, the energy of the warrior, passions, the Pioneer, action…  This could be a volatile or explosive time period.  It can also be a very insightful time. This conjunction is also asking us to move towards the responsible use of power and resources.  New adventures are being started and much action being taken in the directions that assists our evolution…… individually and also collectively.

Now add in Venus and the dwarf planet Ceres in Cancer.  Ceres is the energy of the Goddess of the Grains….the Mother of fertility or the over protective mother (on the Gray side). Ceres is saying….we need to take care of the Earth or it will no longer be able to take care of us. Ceres is sitting with Venus!  Venus is about

Love and relationships and creativity.  Venus is also opposite Pluto… meaning heightened passion, romance and also power struggles.  Pluto is about transformation in all areas, especially the government, military, structures, and corporate America.  Pluto is also about the transformation of your Soul and the Soul of the Earth.  Pluto cares about integrity and respect of all….we are all one!   

Jupiter is in Libra.   Jupiter is the planet of optimism, Joy, international travel, your belief system, and higher knowledge!   It is about speaking your Truth.  Jupiter is also sitting on the star Arcturus. Edgar Cayce mentioned Arcturus more than 30 times in his readings, calling it “the highest civilization in our galaxy” and “the way, the door out of this system.”   Other channeled sources identify Arcturus as one of several extraterrestrial groups who seeded life on  Earth and who continue to aid humanity’s evolution.

This Cardinal Grand Cross will focus on the governments throughout the World and how they use their power!  This could bring about crises in many areas of the collective.  Things need to be triggered so we can see what it is that needs to change.  This could be chaotic…but out of chaos comes creativity!

With this Eclipse/New Moon in Leo….. which is  a very creative sign….Let us use this power to make positive change….and manifest the future that we want to create for ourselves and for the world. 

During this New Leo Moon/Solar Eclipse….we have 6 planets (Saturn, Mercury, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto, Eris) and Chiron all retrograde.  It is a time of internalizing….a time of thinking….meditating and connecting with your guidance. When planets are retrograde…..you internalize those areas of your life. When there are that many planets retrograde, it can feel like things have “slowed” down a little.  Most people won’t lash out,  without thinking first…..as they tend to think about it before talking about it.   As you think about things…..you purge things. It is still a time of moving away from people, places, and things that are not vibrating where you are vibrating.  That is part of your purging…..purging the old, so the new can come in…..so you can create the “New”.   Meditate on these retrograde energies and the things that appear as if they are no longer vibrating where you are currently vibrating…..just let them easily slip through your fingers….as you peacefully move beyond.

Again it can be a very challenging time for all of our relationships and the challenges can come from deep down in our Souls  The Universe is putting these things right in our faces…so we can’t miss the changes we need to make……rather we want to make them or not.   Pay attention to how you feel or react around certain people, places or things…..listen…..    Whatever isn’t vibrating where you are right now….the Universe is asking you to distance from……in the kindest way possible.   Surround yourself with people, places and things that make you feel happy, joyful, and optimistic.  Surround yourself with those that give you the feeling of real Love!

This Leo New Moon reminds us that we are powerful creator’s…manifesto’s,  and that we need to work with our passions.  Start something new….a new project….a new way of looking at things..   Move away from anything that puts out your Joy or Creativity.    It is time to start measuring who you are and your success… by Love and Joy…. instead of  physical things.    Trust and follow your Heart!

Take time to play each day….use your creativity and enjoy what you create….socialize with others…..and let yourself feel love and then share it!  Let the Divine Child that is still within you shine through!   Let yourself feel Joy.  Meditate, and Manifest and create a wonderful/beautiful world for yourself and for all Humanity with this very powerful Heart centered New Leo Moon.  Take time to embrace your childlike innocence and just let yourself…run, play, laugh, create, and Love!!!
