McCain feigns shock over Trump’s deal with Dems

John McCain‘s blatant hypocrisy exceeds rational bounds

Claiming “I haven’t seen anything like it before,” John McCain, Arizona’s Senior Senator, (ASS) is bewildered by President Trump’s recent decision to strike a deal with Democrats. The jointly agreed upon legislative package added over $15 billion to Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, extended the debt ceiling, and funded the federal government until December.

“Haven’t seen anything like it before,” McCain was recently quoted as saying. “I have no way of divining his motives. I’m a pretty intelligent guy, but I don’t understand this.”

This self-described “pretty intelligent guy,” who graduated at the bottom of his U.S. Naval Academy class, either doesn’t look in the mirror while shaving or has developed a severe case of amnesia. His entire congressional career has been spent colluding with Democrats on legislation abhorrent to grassroots Republicans.

McCain has craftily cultivated his “maverick” persona to provide a flamboyant glibness to his deceit.

When President Trump responded to increasingly incendiary nuclear threats from North Korean .madman Kim Jong Un,  John McCain .wasted no time in issuing criticism, saying, “I take exception to the President’s comments because you’ve got to be sure that you can do what you say you’re going to do. In other words, the old walk softly but carry a big stick.” McCain joined Democrats who claimed Trump’s comments were “unhinged.”

That is until double-talking McCain issued his own threats, saying “Kim needs to know that if he acts in an aggressive fashion, the price will be extinction.”

Although Pat Buchanan’s commentary, “What McCain Means,” was written in 2008 during McCain’s failed presidential bid, the issues remain relevant.
