New Kinks In The Las Vegas Shooting Narrative: No Hard Drive

It’s as if the narrative surrounding the mass shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada cannot possibly have any more odd twists and turns.  But now there are details out about the shooter’s laptop, and it begs several questions.

A single laptop computer recovered from the Las Vegas hotel room where Stephen Paddock allegedly launched the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history was missing its hard drive. That deprives investigators of a potential key source of information on why he killed and maimed so many people, ABC News has learned. That also means that authorities are still unable to come up with a plausible motive for the shooting.

Speculations by mainstream media and those investigating the shooting are that Paddock removed the hard drive on his own before he killed himself and rained bullets down on a country music concert below from his Mandalay Bay Hotel windows. Investigators digging into Paddock’s background also learned he purchased software designed to erase files from a hard drive, but without the hard drive to examine it is impossible to know if he ever used the software, one source said.  It sounds like Paddock and Hillary Clinton would have plenty to talk about over a dinner.

That’s if you believe the stories investigators and the media are relaying to the public. Paddock’s finances did not appear to be a problem and he had settled any debts he had with casinos shortly before the attack, a source said. Begging even more questions.  Wealthy and happy people with money to buy things they want don’t just snap.  But there’s no way to know where his hard drive is, but my guess is that it got the Hillary treatment, and no one will ever know for certain what was on it.

It sure opens up a whole new wealth of questions, especially if you’re one of those questioning the authorities and their “official” version of the events about the Las Vegas shooting. It’s almost like the guy who had no military training somehow managed to think of everything and knew exactly what to do.
