NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force is prepared to fight a war “at a short notice”, Air Chief Marshal BS Dhanoa said today, adding that it was fully geared up to face any security challenge to the country. “We are prepared to fight at a short notice,” Air Chief Marshal Dhanoa told personnel on the occasion of the 85th Air Force Day. The Air Chief’s remarks come three days after he said that the Indian Air Force has the capability of locating, fixing and striking across the border, adding that any decision on a surgical strike would be taken by the government.

He also asserted that India is prepared to effectively counter any threat from China while confronting a two-front war also involving Pakistan.

Super Hercules To Play Vital Role During Conflicts: Indian Air Force

The C-130J Super Hercules transport aircraft, a squadron of which has been set up here, has the capability to play an important role in case of a military conflict, Air Vice Marshal Vikram Singh said here today. He was speaking after viewing a spectacular para diving exercise by seven para jumper instructors from one of the six aircraft of the C-130J Hercules squadron of the IAF at the Air Force Station Arjan Singh, earlier known as Panagarh air base.

New Delhi: New missiles which can travel at a hypersonic speed developed by US, Russia and China could trigger a war, experts have warned. Unlike the traditional ballistic missiles, a hypersonic missile can travel at Mach 5 or higher and also has the ability to manoeuvre.

The Ministry of External Affairs has denied that there is any change in the status quo at Doklam as agreed on August 25 paving way for “disengagement” at the disputed site between China and Bhutan. Following the “disengagement” understanding, Indian troops came back to their posts in Doklam. Chinese troops too pulled back. But, they stayed put at about 800 metres from the site of stand-off.

 Admit to Him that you are a sinner in need of forgiveness, that you are truly sorry for your sins.  Acknowledge that He died for your sins, rose from the dead and lives forevermore. Invite Him into your life and to help you to turn from sin. Rejoice! You just became a Christian! Now trust in Him and get to know Him through the Bible which tells us everything we need to know and through prayer/talking to Him. He eagerly desires relationship with you.
