Pastor Caspar's Commentaries - Inner or Outer Healing?

We read in 1 Timothy 4:1,”Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;”

Today we have churches with professional Christian councillors practising such things as they term, “Inner Healing”, often based on Theophostics. All these theories and practices of nearly every popular inner healer which has invaded the modern churches can be traced back to Occultist Jung and Sanford, or can be shown to be based on the same premises. Dealing with what they call the unconscious mind, or the collective unconscious, together with all those repressed memories they like to explore with the people they deal with for an hefty hourly fee. Although the client continues to suffer with what the Lord Jesus/Yeshua said was a “Broken heart”. Because none are actually healed this way. Only the Lord Jesus/Yeshua can properly mend your broken heart. Nothing else is ever going to take the place of the healing that the Lord Jesus/Yeshua does in someone’s heart, mind, body, soul and spirit. If you look on the internet, you will see multiple pages of ministries that have arisen to help heal your memories for a price. This should be a Big Red Flag to anyone who is diligently in the Word of God, and has the Word God is in them. No one needed their memories healed until it became popular in the last generation or so. We never see anyone in the Holy Scriptures who needed their memory healed. Instead we see examples in our Holy Guide Book To the Supernatural of taking control of your thought life to the obedience of Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5) The Word of God has not changed, rather it will change you for the better. For we still need to preach the Gospel, heal the sick and cast out demons in Jesus/Yeshua’s almighty name. Instructing the church to practise confession, repentance, and forgiveness is what the Lord said to do. We simply must get into a proper right relationship the Lord Jesus/Yeshua and all others including yourself. By the washing of the Word we can continually renew our minds by meditating on the Word of God to bring healing and blessings to all our flesh.(Proverbs 4:22) It is only through God’s Holy Word, we can obtain true deliverance and find true freedom and restoration and healing. These are the things that the Lord Jesus/Yeshua did and wants us to do today, in the same way Jesus/Yeshua physically ministered to hurting people supernaturally healing everyone. The Lord Jesus/Yeshua essentially instructed that all true disciples of his in every generation go and bless others in the authoirty of his almighty name until he physically returns.
