The Truth Behind Gucci's "Blk-Face" That CNN Won't Tell You!

As always, everything you can expect from the liars of Mainstream Media, the unhinged perverts of Hollywood and from the hardened criminals of the government-run freak show….delivers on point every single time. You can ALWAYS count on them to shovel a fresh pile of shallow, mentally deranged, morally-destructive and decisively divisive crap out to the pathetic masses who are more than willing to stand in line to choke down the latest round of pretend outrage and laughable nonsense.

I know I’m late to this Gucci party shenanigans…but there are somethings that really need to be said here. The Wall Street Journal covered this and the way they wrote the piece can either be taken as comedy gold or as sad commentary on the startling fallout of a socially engineered cultural nightmare.

Either way the mental stability of many individuals are clearly in shambles

The Journal writes, “The French billionaire who controls Gucci pledged to redouble the luxury fashion brand’s cultural-sensitivity training for employees after being STUNG by controversy over a Gucci sweater that critics likened to blackface. (Stung by controversy? These people aren’t stupid. You don’t become a multi-billion dollar company who can get away with selling 10 dollar sweaters for $890 by being stupid or unaware of what you’re doing or STUNNED by controversy. Controversy almost always sparks sales and spreads brand recognition to newer markets. Gucci knew what they were doing. Sparking national and international emotion from the outrage police is a move that has and will pay dividends.)

François-Henri Pinault, chief executive and controlling shareholder of Gucci parent Kering SA, KER 3.28% said the Italian fashion house didn’t have teams in place to ensure that designs and marketing material don’t offend African-Americans. So you need a team that focuses on this specifically? (what kind of team would you have to have in place to determine that something THIS would obviously set off a whole group of ready-to-be-offended, people.)

People like this rapper named Soulja Boy says that, because he believes his “culture was disrespected, Gucci needs to cut him a check and issue him a formal appology.” (clip)

It’s so common to hear people say that they’re offended by something that it almost comes with this unspoken idea that now, somehow, society owes them something. Like being offended grants you special rights and reparations to be given by the offender.

As for Gucci, after the outrage mob blitzed them with their testimonials of extreme offense through social media, predictably, they issued a statement saying, “Gucci deeply apologizes for the offense caused by the wool balaclava jumper. We can confirm that the item has been immediately removed from our online store and all physical stores. We consider diversity to be a fundamental value to be fully upheld, respected, and at the forefront of every decision we make. (diversity is at the forefront of every decision you make? What a load of disingenuous placating BS. Diversity isn’t even at the forefront of most of the decisions of those who claim to be offended by the lack of diversity and respect for diversity) We are fully committed to increasing diversity throughout our organization and turning this incident into a powerful learning moment for the Gucci team and beyond.”

So what happened to Kering’s stock after this…it took the immediate expected dip followed by the inevitable rise because their brand got hundreds of millions of dollars worth of free advertising because everybody started talking about it every where they were able. In fact, if you look at a three month chart, Kering who owns Gucci, is sitting on the highs, not the lows!

Now I know Trevor Noah tries to be funny…but check out what he says here, (clip)

He makes a joke about it at the end…but he and other people…like his audience applaud this. They really believe the person who got offended is owed some sort of reparation. And what are they really asking for?…if you offend someone by not doing or saying the right things, you are entitled to compensation from the offender? That’s insane. They’re asking for laws to be made and governments to be involved in the use of threats and force to make you pay for a person’s inability to build a bridge and get over some of the things in life that don’t go exactly their way. Similar to being fined for using the wrong gender pronoun. (screen cap)

This content creator on YouTube, the Lionel B Show, says fashion companies that have created blackface clothing takes it as “a slap in the face to the African-American community.” But the reality is it’s not actually a slap in the face. Nobody is threatening or harming anyone. We’re talking about words and images and sweaters. Lionel says this (clip)

So Lionel obviously expects that people “give a damn about his race.” I’ve got one question for ya Lionel. Why? Who cares if people respect you or your race? Why the hell would I get offended when I hear Farakahn talk about my race. Sitting at a stop light at a pedestrian crossing and some guy stops in front of my car and starts shooting birds at me and cussing me out.

Who the hell cares? What if he’s calling me a cracker (and I’ve had this done to me)…why the heck should this disturb me in the least? And if I let it disturb and offend me…what good is that gonna do. It’s like crying over the spilled milk. Sure….you can cry about it…but what the hell good is it gonna do. Clean it up or leave it and go on? That people are going to let what other morons think about them ruin their day, their week, their lives, makes absolutely no sense to me.

To show you how absolutely ridiculous this whole Gucci thing is…

There’s this supposed Harlem fashion icon Daniel Day, known as Dapper Dan, who weighed in on the Gucci sweater insanity on his Instagram page. He writes.

“I am a black man before I am a brand. (so he’s making it clear that he’s not just a man, he’s a black man. I don’t know about you but the only time I consider telling people I’m white is if I’m asked on a form. What does it matter what color of man you are…or that you’re even a man. You’re a human being. The problem with our world is that all these people who cry about segregation constantly draw lines of segregation in their wording as they try to convince everybody that they’re against segregation. I’m not buying it)

Another fashion house has gotten it outrageously wrong. There is no excuse nor apology which can erase this kind of insult. (Let’s say Gucci meant it as an insult.

So what?

Are we gonna go out and ask for tighter controls on others to make sure we never run into the possibility of being offended?) The CEO of Gucci has agreed to come from Italy to Harlem this week to meet with me, along with members of the community and other industry leaders. There cannot be inclusivity without accountability. I will hold everyone accountable.” (accountable for what? For putting out designs that only you and your community approve of? What if another black community got together to meet with Gucci’s CEO and said…Hey man…all of us here….we love that sweater and request that you put it back on the shelves.

Matter of fact…think about this…that sweater that was selling for 890 frickin dollars….guess what happened to the value of that thing when Gucci was supposedly forced to pull that product off store shelves? It skyrocketed! Why? Because the so-called black market (which is really the free market) understands that it can take full advantage of a market that’s manipulated by crybabies who are increasingly apt to get their feelings hurt by every slight breeze of criticism.

Besides, what happened to cultural diversity? They’re always talking about cultural-sensitivity training and tolerance. Isn’t the rejection of the creation of something that others deem “racially insensitive” a form of intolerance of diverse forms of artistic expression? There’s a LOT of hypocrisy going on here.

Here’s what I wanna leave you with….

Offense or the state of being offended, whether you wanna hear this or not, is a construct of the mind.

Everyone has the capacity to change the way they think about life IF there is a compelling reason to do so. One hundred percent of the time, this comes from INSIDE the mind, not outside. Oftentimes, we think that circumstances decide our reality, that our lives and experiences of life are shaped by the world around us as an OUTSIDE-in experience.

But if you think deeply about that, it’s shallow and it’s NOT the case. Circumstances do NOT shape our experiences in life; we do. Each of us, every minute of the day, has the ability to shape and experience our reality from a more profound place, a deeper dimension, a more human place. Not a black place…not a white place…a human place. I realized that I live in a inside-out world, shaped by my thinking and my state of mind. Life will almost always be 10% what happens to you and 90% how you choose to respond to it.

Okay…so you’re offended? So what. What do you want us to do about it? Were you threatened? Were you harmed? Where they just words? Was it just a sweater…or in this new Katy Perry shoe nonsense, were they just shoes? So what?

When you are unwilling to forgive…in other words if you’re not willing to let things go, you reveal your fragile and weak character and you limit your growth. Forgiveness allows you to right a wrong in your own self, to have understanding instead of resentment, to have compassion instead of hatred.

Besides…you wanna get rightly offended by something be offended about 125,000 baby murders a day, ceaseless wars and a corrupt government. Then we might make some headway.

Let the world, the google thought police and the easily offended snowflakes of the world know what you think about this in the comments section below.

Blcack Face is different from NEGRO face. Black is not a race. It’s a color and other things. Negro is a race. Only a WAYCIST would see it related to a Negro.

I am “Outraged” that Gucci actually apologized in the first place. People need to start pushing back on this manufactured Racism & phony virtue signaling horse shit. There is nothing racist about that sweater, when I was growing up everyone had face boggin’s of all colors with red stitching around the eyes, nose & mouth. This sweater was simply an optional face warmer (1/2 face Boggin) with the same red stitching around the mouth that boggin’s have had for a damn century now. Kinda hard to call it racist when Black women were wearing it as well. Its not like Gucci was selling it to white women only (now that would be racist). People just need to start slapping these libtards & paid pot stirring morons down & stop tolerating their manufactured & contrived crap.
