Sobering "Gun Control" Letter From YouTuber

I didn’t think I’d be doing this video. The interaction I just had today with a fellow YouTuber who I watch regularly completely caught me off guard. All this time I though we were fighting on the same side…but I discovered through very short correspondence back and forth that we’re not.

Before I get into this I want to say that, as far as politics is concerned things are very very simple. There are really only two kinds of people in this world statists and voluntarists. People who want to use force to control you and steal from you, on the one hand and people who just want to be left alone and will leave you alone, on the other. I know I say this all the time and I know people are tired of it…but a HUGE part of our world is messed up because there are people out there who think they have the legitimate MORAL right to rule over others and that those others have the moral obligation to obey them. And the reason I used the word Moral to modify that is because those people who see themselves as your rulers believe that if you don’t just obey their words, their commands, their so called laws (on the basis of nothing more than that they wrote those laws) then you are to be, they believe, RIGHTLY and JUSTLY punished. You’ve gone against their word…so you’ve sinned against the church called the state and the churches agents called politicians and law enforcers and you are to personally atone for your transgression of disobeying the commands of the god called government. You’re not being punished because you harmed someone or damaged or stole someone else’s property, which would constitute a true crime, because you would have left a true victim. You are being punished by the agents of the state because you didn’t do what the politicians told you to do. Or you did something they told you not to do. I say they claim the “legitimate MORAL right to rule you and take your stuff because if you don’t obey them you are viewed as bad…as criminal. It’s all a magic show. And I say it’s magic because if you carried out the same actions they carried out against you, you would be rightly punished as a criminal. So, they commit crimes as state agents and are found be holy, you commit no crime and are found, by them to be unholy in the church called the state.

That is how convoluted this is. That is how cancerous this delusion is. That’s how far gone we are as a society, because we’ve all bought into and have participated in this global lie.

One last thing before I get to this disturbing letter…I can’t be a statist because for me to participate in statism or the belief in the legitimacy of government means that I’m okay with and support agents of the state bringing their monopoly on force and violence down on you and everyone else who’s innocent simply because you wanted to live as a free man. Simply because you wanted to be left alone to conduct your relationship with mankind in a voluntary and peaceful way, as opposed to the ways of force violence and coercion.

I’m gonna leave this YouTubers name out of this because I wanna deal with the principles of our correspondence. And I wanna leave room for the seeds of rationality, logic, truth and basic human compassion to grow inside of him without putting him on the spot.

Like I said, I routinely watch and get a lot out of his content. I’ve seen many of his videos and some how did not know he believed like I’m about to show you he believes.

I asked him if he would like to come on my channel and give his perspective about a particular topic that he specializes in…because I think he has a good handle on what’s going on in a certain area….he decline by saying

• I appreciate it, but I am one of the most *LOATHED personalities on YouTube,…especially in the gun community,…you would do far more damage to you channel than you think,…I’m not a Liberal but I never have/never will be a Trump guy,….I’m all for guns as long as you are PROFESSIONALLY TRAINED and a member of the local Militia who actively conducts patrol, neighborhood security and has a plan for security for those weapons,..not for just any old random anybody buying whatever weapons for whatever personal reasons,…I did a couple interviews long ago and they turned out to be DISASTROUS for those guys,…You do good work, keep it up!

I’m not concerned about people’s views of my reputation. I know what I stand for. Lemme ask ya though. Are you for initiating force and violence on people who own guns but are NOT professionally trained or a member of a local militia? Are you saying that you are okay with a person (or group of people) determining who would and who would not be “allowed” a firearm? Are you further for a prohibition on people who want to own any kind of property they can voluntarily and peacefully get their hands on? I’m not a Trump guy either (though you knew that) He’s an Israeli puppet….among other things.

1. at some point We are going to have to except the fact that there are far too many weapons out there in the hands of far too many people who have no business and no good intention for those weapons whatever is necessary to fix that problem once we have excepted it as a problem will have to be done.

When people say things like this…and I hear this all the time especially from LEFT wing corporate shills….Several questions immediately go off in my mind. Who says there are far too many weapons our there in the hands of far too many people? What if you or I disagree with that? And who’s gonna decide who has business or no business owning a gun? Who’s gonna make the final decision on if your intention is good enough to qualify for you to own the gun? Who has a legitimate right to tell you what you can or can’t own?

2. 2. To have a civilized society you have to have rules and guidelines and those rules and guidelines need to be enforced and when it comes to weapons especially high powered military grade weapons there needs to be a standard that at least reaches what the military has

Again…more questions. “High Powered Military grade weapons” I almost had to check to make sure I didn’t get this email from Don Lemon or Rachael Maddow. There’s this idea that mainstream media has tried to ram down our throats that so-called “civilians” have no business owning weapons made for the battle field. Senator Ted Deutch likes to say, “lets get those weapons of war off our streets” Says Who that they’re weapons of war? If you wanna buy that and own it through honest means…who the heck has the legitimate authority to stop you?

3. 3.That whole voluntarily and peacefully qualifier is a nonstarter. I am sure that there are great many people who believe that if they could secure a patriot missile system a couple dozen attack helicopters with pilots and a small fleet of armored personnel carriers they should be allowed to simply because they believe their intentions to be righteous, but as a civilized society regardless of our opinion about whatever that person believes or doesn’t believe, it cannot be allowed. the military would know our hell they won’t let you ample around base with a weapon that you train on every single day unless you have a specific duty and a purpose for it. why should random untrained people Use a constitutional amendment specifically designed for the militia as an excuse to make themselves a threat to everyone around them?

Amendments don’t grant rights. And it doesn’t matter what the second amendment says…they can change it tomorrow or get rid of it altogether. You, as an individual have the right own what you want. As long as you’re not harming others no one has the right to tell you you can’t own it. Your rights don’t begin or end with what somebody wrote on a piece of parchment centuries ago, or what political parasites type on their computers today.

BTW…this conversation for me is non-combative….people tend to read emotion into text (I suppose it’s natural). I’m hear to learn…I mean no ill will… I do want to understand your perspective. Based on what you just said in your three points, then, you believe that there are people on this earth who have a legitimately higher claim over the lives and properties of other people who have neither violated nor threatened to violate another person’s will or rights. Basically, who is any man to JUSTLY tell another man what he can or can’t PEACEFULLY buy with his own money and own? How is it sane to let what someone wrote on a piece of paper hundreds of years ago, control their own actions today to such an extent?

I said nothing of the sort that’s something that you read into it. I am saying that to live in a civilized society we need to have laws and those laws need to be enforced. If you think a society that just allows anyone to have a weapon for any reason at all with no restrictions whatsoever and having no authority figures to enforce those laws is some kind of paradise go visit Africa and then get back with me

We only need one law. Natural law. The law that says if someone does something to you that you don’t want done to you, they have done wrong. If you have been violated or your property has been damaged or stolen…a true crime has been committed and a reputation based local society would enact a just punishment on the criminal.

Actually….you just reiterated what you just said that you DIDN’T say. You just wrote, “laws (which are nothing more than the commands of men issued to control other men) need to be enFORCED” (i.e., if you don’t obey my “law” I will FORCE you to comply) and you mention “authority figures (people who believe they have a higher claim over the lives of others to the degree that, if others do NOT obey them, they will be punished) to enforce those laws” Your context is so-called “laws” which limit the ability of other mere humans to buy and possess any weaponry they desire. What I’m hearing you say is that you don’t want me to have the ability to buy whatever I desire with my own money. Further, if I want to peacefully purchase what you call “military grade weapons,” you say I can’t have them because I’m not trained or part of a militia. What am I misunderstanding here? If I’m correct here, how is it inaccurate to call you an authoritarian? Here’s how I look at it. My neighbor can own anything he wants. If he starts hurting people…that’s when I have an issue….because now he’s violating the rights of others. Similar to what it sounds like you are doing. You seem to want to violate the rights of people to own whatever firearm they want to own.

Well why stop there? Why not just let seven and eight-year-olds have weapons who are you to say they can’t?? Why don’t we let them drive big rigs?? I’m sure they would work for Less..If you are for absolutely no standards whatsoever for anyone owning anything then great wonderful I’m going to purchase a couple hundred pounds of plutonium and leave it in my backyard maybe I might turn it into a bomb maybe I won’t..Sleep well

The only legitimate authority in the world…under the sun is a parent to a child. My children would have been perfectly fine carrying a firearm when they were 7 or 8. Might not be a good idea for others to have one. But that doesn’t mean we need government to now create a law. What we are talking about here is a man who thinks he has the right to tell another man what he can or can’t do with his life.

You’re side-stepping the issue. The bottom line is that YOU (a mere man) want to use unjust FORCE against me (or have someone else use force against me) because YOU don’t think I shouldn’t own a particular thing (in this case firearms) My question is, where do YOU (or anyone else get that “authority”)? What gives YOU the right FORCE YOUR wishes on others?

You’re really catching me off guard on this, my friend. I’ve seen a LOT of your videos and had no idea you were so embroiled in authoritarianism. btw…the last part of your argument sounds exactly like BIG daddy government. They basically say, “it’s a dangerous world out there. There are bad people who do bad things…so, what we’re gonna have to do is criminalize EVERYBODY with our laws (including peaceful people who haven’t harmed anyone) in order to give you the safety and security you desire.” And we both know, my friend, what happens when people start giving away their liberties for a little temporary security. Besides…do you think I would sleep any worse if YOU and your neighbors had HUNDREDS of pounds of plutonium as opposed the the psychopathic criminals in “government” who have much much more? We’re all human, man. None of us has a right to FORCE another INNOCENT man to bend to our will. Its a lie you’re believing….and it’s a belief that leads people to do IMMORAL things to others. If you think I’m wrong on that, please specifically point out my error.
