Is China’s Forced Organ Harvesting a Global Responsibility?

In 2006, allegations surfaced that prisoners in China were being killed for their organs. Since then, several independent reports have been published concluding that the practice of forced organ harvesting in China is widespread. Most recently, the China Tribunal came to the same conclusion:
“The tribunal’s members are certain—unanimously, and sure beyond reasonable doubt—that in China forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience has been practiced for a substantial period of time involving a very substantial number of victims.”
Last week, London-based lawyer Hamid Sabi addressed the United Nations Human Rights Council. He said they have a legal obligation to confront China over its practice of forced organ harvesting.
Today we are joined by Dr. Kirk Allison. We discuss medical ethics; which convinced him that forced organ harvesting in China was real; and a trend he’s worried about in the Western medical profession.

I don’t believe any of this anymore than any of the other propaganda I have heard about China or any other foreign country that our media speaks ill of simply because they make far better products than us and are far more innovative with technology.
Forced human organ transplants mean there was a person compatible with the organ in a medical facility capable and qualified to do a transplant with a recipient rich enough to afford the operation and able to afford $15,000 or more immune suppressants per year with the absolute certainty that within 5 years the treatment would give that person death from cancer. Frankenscience. Any organ harvested would be contaminated not just with the environment of a prison insanitary conditions, but the general heath of the prisoner, their existing hidden medical conditions and parasites and quite possibly abuse in prison rendering organs a hazard. Ideally, the target population would be a pre 16 non drug user(preferably a school athlete) with a good health record from a western country who died in hospital from an accident with white collar parents. e.g. exactly not the population sent to corrective facilities in China.
