Question: Tell us something personal about yourself, such as your family life, recreational activities, hobbies. What movies do you like, TV shows and books?

Answer: As for family, I have a huge one. Just moved here to Sacramento with my half brother. Some hobbies of mine are playing football, making music, taking photos, and sleeping. Don’t watch or like too many movies except for Gridiron Gang and Django. Some favorite TV shows of mine are Community and Family Guy. And I used to read the Harry Potter series a lot.

Question: How did you get into Hip Hop? What inspired you?

Answer: Growing up my dad use to play Tupac all the time, which really got me into the genre to begin with. Growing up I started to listen to a wider scale of music and artist and was influenced by my peers who also did music.

Question: Do you have any published music?

Answer: Yes most of my production can be found on soundcloud.com/kilolaroyce and my hip-hop music group “Ali3N $QUAD” has a website where all are music can be found. Its www.ali3nsquad.com

Question; What upcoming events do you have planned?

Answer: A music performance in Seattle, WA at Studio 7 with fellow artist Deshanko Pigpen

Question: What inspired you to become a photographer?

Answer: My best friend since high school, Marcus Byrd. I’d learn all my tips and tricks from him

Question: Can you tell us about some of your work as a photographer?

Answer: Mostly freelance stuff. I’d say the biggest thing I’ve done to date was filming a mini documentary for the indie artist Autumn Sky. Other than that, just small photo shoots for friends and people willing to let me take pictures of them

Question: What do you like better, performing Hip Hop Music or photography?

Answer: Definitely making music. From the beats, lyrics, to going wild at a show it just doesn’t get old. I guess the only thing better would be me performing and having someone take photos of me which has happened before lol

Question: Do you have any other talents?

Answer: I would say fashion design but that has been a small thing in my life. But most days I’d rather make my own clothes than to have to go out and buy some haha.

Question: I always ask my interviewees this question, what are your religious beliefs?

Answer: I believe in a higher power but as far as religion itself goes, I don’t follow it. Just another form of structure.

Question: Now to the fun questions. If you had six dinner guests, 3 historical, 3 fictional, who would they be and why?

Answer: 3 fictional guests would be Ed Edd and Eddy because it was one of the best cartoon shows growing up. 3 historical guests would be the top three players from the 1995 Super Bowl Champs, the 49ers. Because it’s the only Super Bowl we won that I was alive for

Question: If you were on a deserted island, what 3 things would you bring?

Answer: A knife, flashlight, and my ipod haha

Answer: Don’t let life pass you. Do what makes you happy and don’t settle for less.
