Keith Regan releases new EDM single 'Drop'

The writer, composer and producer of electronic dance music known as Keith Regan has released his latest EDM single, ‘Drop.’ The track has been proudly published as an independent release on Regan’s own terms without support of any kind from the corporate music industry. Uptempo, packed with bass and absolutely, positively alive, “Drop” by Keith Regan is one of the most vibrant EDM singles to appear in 2015 so far.

Keith Regan cites as his personal artistic influences a wide variety of musical geniuses both inside and outside the EDM category, including in his own words: “DJ Brent Carmichael, Yossef, Tiesto, Usher, Madonna, Puff Daddy, Busta Rhymes, Elton John, Michael Jackson, Aaliyah, Missy Elliot, Lil’ Kim, Nicki Minaj, Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, and so, so many more! I am influenced by all genres of music.”

This open-mindedness as a music listener comes out in the many colors with which Regan’s own music thrums. His “Drop” is multi-leveled, highly textured, and has a certain vibrancy of which many EDM tracks cannot boast. Some of this is likely due to his family background.

“My dad was in a band since I was born,” he notes. “I’ve always loved all genres of music.”

Keith Regan, a native of Salt Spring Isle. in British Columbia, Canada, is also an artist of principle. His upbeat outlook on art and life permeates not only his new “Drop” single, but also his recent “Lift Me Up” track which appeared on digital shelves everywhere on the fourth of July.

Asked to describe his overarching themes to his songs, Keith Regan writes, “My message as an artist is to inspire everyone that no matter where you are or what your situation, you can work through anything and make it in any industry you dream of! I was put here to inspire.”
 

Keith Regan is the son of a veteran audiophile, and one of BC’s most promising young composers of EDM. His youth was spent playing and listening to live music, and attending explosive raves and house parties featuring the best artists both from his own community and from around the continent. He has written music in the genres of EDM, hip hop, rhythm ‘n’ blues, country, pop, and more. He is an enthusiast of physical fitness and an outspoken lover of animals.
