What Really Killed the Aztecs and It Wasn't What You Think (Video)

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

by N.Morgan

The mystery that has surrounded the end of the Aztec civilization may have finally been solved.

It has been 500 years since the Aztec Empire fell during the Cocoliztli epidemic, leaving behind a legacy that has been reduced to human sacrifices, fancy temples, and intricate carvings.

In the mid 16th century, the Aztecs began dying in large numbers.

Estimates place the death toll between 7 and 17 million. Whatever the infected had caused them to bleed, vomit, and develop red spots on their skin before they perished.

Five centuries later, and scientists now think they know which horrible disease was responsible: salmonella.

In a recent study published in the journal Nature Ecology and Evolution, molecular paleopathologist Kirsten Bos and her team analyzed DNA from the teeth of Aztecs who died during one of two waves of disease (first in 1545, then again in 1576).

It was an analytical technique that was really the game-changer for us, ” Bos said. The major advancement was this algorithm...It offers a method of analyzing many, many, many small DNA fragments that we get, and actually identifying, by species name, the bacteria that are represented.”

The specific bacteria the program was able to pinpoint was Salmonella enterica Paratyphi C, but it was not able to identify its source.

One common belief is that the disease was brought to Mexico by the Europeans, but other studies have suggested that the bacteria originated in the land of the Aztecs and was made worse by drought.

“The Europeans who were observing the symptoms didn’t know what it was, and Europeans got it as well,” said Bos. But while they may not have been responsible for delivering the deadly package, the invaders did help open it.”

We know that Europeans very much changed the landscape once they entered the new world.

“They introduced new livestock, [and] there was lots of social disruption among the indigenous population which would have increased their susceptibility to infectious disease.”

      Bullshit…

Cortex figured it out, he banned the cultivation of Amaranth, which contains the greatest amount of a wierd oil called Squalene.

Squalene has been demonized as a toxin used to simulate immune response when a small amoutn it included with vaccines.

Squalene IS toxic when it is used across the skin/blood barrier smart filter…

Squaline is MAGIC when it is eaten… It lowers cholesterol, lowers blood presure, stimulates immune system, and it does something else that it difficult to describe… it allows full recall of dreams….

I believe that indigeneous american indian DNA has a gene switch which is triggerred by something in Amaranth, to make them strong, both physically and mentally. If Amaranth was eaten again it might give them stregth to defeat the conquistadors, a fourth time…

The Ways and Means ~ Death news Mayans ~ Went heads Mayans
      .
      .
I had a dream awhile back in which there was a group of young brown people maybe a dozen or so. They were outside dancing and whooping it up Indian style.

Storm clouds began to gather accompanied by lightning. (Quite Quickly) Along side these storm clouds appeared a couple of Aztec images.

Suddenly on the ground in front of me two large ostrich or emu type birds appeared. (Prehistoric looking) One approached me and began to aggressively nibble at my tightly closed lips… (It didn’t hurt)

Meanwhile: I was trying to concentrate on a Christian hymn or scripture as a defense or deterrent against the unknown intention of these creatures and of how and why they were able to be summoned.

      Hello Angle#3,

Charlie here. Cute story, but they had a VICIOUS history. Something KILLED them off. Usually, it’s a society SINS that eventually get to them. I currently don’t believe Mexicans had anything to do with the structures that are found throughout South America, nor do I, for that matter, believe Egyptians built the pyramids.

Someone else built them and they disappeared also. And no one can explain the mysterious disappearance of the Anasazi Indians. So what killed all these civilizations off to be forgotten?

Certainly not the doughnut as it was NOT invented at that time.

      Signed,

Charlie (So eat doughnuts to your hearts content. They are safe!)

 11 minutes of Saturday Morning Cartoon “education”! A hodgepodge of useless trivia, with the only thing to remember being the promotion for the “essential incoming drug” to fight a newly “discovered”… “pandemic of 500 years ago”. This is what this video may look to be: A children’s audience infomercial for big-pharma. But… there is more to it: it is an undeclared anti-Catholic and therefore Christian-o-phobic message, because it past under silence what changed the Aztec empire besides the “pandemic”. Silence is a lie, or more politely said: revisionism.

If I may remind what happen during this period: Cortez was never seen as a “god”. He was perceived as bringing God according to an unknown origin’s Aztec prophecy. Cortez, in his expedition, had Franciscan friars who began converting the pagan Aztecs to the true God of the Holy Trinity. The results were poor, with just a few thousand converts after several years, then came the prodigious intervention of the Blessed Virgin Mary when she appear under the name of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The miraculous image was understood immediately by the symbols that only the Aztecs could understand. As a result, the near entire Aztec population converted to the Catholic faith. It was the largest mass conversion in the entire history of the Roman Catholic Church!

Aztecs performed human ‘sacrifice’- public murder under the guise of religion. I’m certain many lives were spared when the Aztecs died. Glad they’re gone. Good riddance!!
