 Saudi Arabia Gets Another Pass

            Donald Trump’s ban on immigrants from seven predominantly Muslim nations: Libya, Sudan, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Yemen and Somalia reflects just how out of it and ignorant the policy makers and advisors in his administration are. Some would say it starts at the top but perhaps Trump’s unawareness can be overlooked given he has never held national office. Trump’s supporters are ecstatic he is keeping his word on vetting people from countries “antagonistic” towards the United States. His opponents see this directive as a boneheaded move that is violation of civil rights which will further alienate the US from world opinion.

             But the fact of the matter is Trump is continuing a long standing policy of giving the Saudis a pass while they fund and train terrorists around the world. And this is my issue with Trump’s ban, he overlooked the main source and fount of fanaticism and terror in the world, Saudi Arabia. If he is serious about defeating “radical Islamic terrorism” why is he giving Saudi Arabia a pass?!  Most people are totally unaware that Saudi Arabia is the home of a psychopathic cult of fanatics called Wahabbism. But the US intelligence agencies know full well because they use them to do their dirty world around the world. Wahabbism is so fanatical they call for killing any Muslims who don’t share their beliefs and values!

            Wahabbism is a counter philosophy to “traditional” Islam. “Founded by Mohammed Ibn Abd al-Wahhab (1703-92), it stresses the absolute sovereignty of God. Ibn Abd al-Wahhab also rejected any reliance on the intercession of Mohammed and denounced pilgrimages to saints’ tombs, declaring that their domes or shrines should be destroyed. As an opposer of innovation, he advocated a return to what he saw as the purity of the first generation of Islam, the salaf and the teaching of any school of law. In modern times the US and Britain used the House of Saud and their Wahabbists henchmen as recruiters and trainers for insurgent groups to bedevil their adversaries like Russia when it came to the aid of the Afghanistan government in the 1980′s. The US, Britain, Israel and Pakistan collaborated to wage guerrilla war against the Russians using Wahabbi trained radicals like Osama bin-Laden to do their dirty work against the Russians in Afghanistan.

            Viewing their Wahabbi and Saudi connection as a great long term investment, the US and Saudi governments funneled funds to support terrorist operations in Chechnya and other Eastern European nations to destabilize these areas and where needed create chaos so the US and its allies could come in take oil and natural resources under the guise of “humanitarian aid” democracy and freedom!

            The nexus of organizations such as al-Qaeda, ISIS, ISIL, Boko Haram are Wahabbi teachings and Saudi money! “The Saudi kingdom’s inseparability from the Wahhabi form of Sunni Islam, first espoused in 1744 and the fundamental creed of Saudi Arabia since its modern founding in 1932, has ensured that fundamentalism shapes domestic and foreign policies. Saudi Arabia is not the only source of resources for jihadism—public and private entities in Kuwait, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and more recently Turkey have also been linked to collection and transfer of funds supporting terror groups.             The US CIA has used the Saudi and Wahabbi connection as cannon fodder, provocateurs and terrorists to their advantage. They train terrorist all over the world including the US. The US FBI knows all this, yet Trump like Bu$H, and Obama before him coddles the Saudis and turns a blind eye towards Wahabbi terrorism rooted in Saudi Arabia. What this means is it’s business as usual under Donald Trump!
