TEL AVIV – Israel has pledged $1 million
in emergency aid to “Jewish” victims of Hurricane
Harvey in the Houston area.

“The Jewish state is measured by its response when our brothers around the world are in crisis,” Diaspora Affairs Minister Naftali Bennett said, adding that the donation will be used to rebuild schools, synagogues, an old age home and a Jewish community center that were destroyed in the flooding.
“For years the Jewish communities stood by Israel when it needed their help; now it is our turn to stand by Houston’s Jewish community,” he said.
Bennett cited local Jewish leaders as noting that the “rehabilitation process will take years.”
According to the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston, 71 percent of the city’s Jewish population – including some 12,000 senior citizens – lives in areas that were severely flooded, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported.
Jewish residents who observe a kosher diet are finding it particularly difficult to obtain kosher food. As Breitbart Jerusalem reported on Tuesday, local and national Orthodox groups have come together to bring tens of thousands of kosher meals to the community in Houston.
In the immediate aftermath of the hurricane hitting Texas last week, Breitbart Jerusalem reported that Israeli aid experts from two diaster relief NGOs – IsraAID and iAID – had been dispatched to Texas to provide emergency relief and psychosocial support to the victims.
Local groups including the Jewish Family Service (JFS) of Houston and the Network of Jewish Human Services Agencies (NJHSA) stepped forward to offer free trauma counseling to victims.

After Hurricane Harvey flooded Houston, Texas, Israeli officials issued a statement saying they will send aid to the affected Jewish families.
Naftali Bennett, Israeli Education Minister, said last week they will donate $1 million dollars.
“Schools and synagogues were flooded and are no longer usable,” he stated. “The old age home and the Jewish community center were damaged, and hundreds of families were left homeless.”
Approximately 70% of the Jewish community were living “in the flooded neighborhoods,” so Israel is obligated to send aid, according to,” Bennett, who also heads Israel’s Diaspora Affairs Ministry
“The true test of a Jewish country is when our brothers around the world are suffering,” he stated. “Aid sends a clear message of mutual responsibility.”
Bennett continued by explaining how Jewish citizens of America and Israel were always helping one another.
“For years, these Jewish communities have stood by Israel when we were in need of aid, and now it is our turn to stand by Houston’s Jewish community,” he said.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is going to review the proposal at the next meeting of the Israeli Knesset, where it will be presented for final approval.
There are also other Israeli organizations that are willing to help. According to some records, a team of therapists working with Israel Rescue Coalition were transmitted to Texas to offer assistance to the victims to cope with psychological trauma.

“People need help on the ground,” said Dov Maisel, vice president of the volunteer EMS agency United Hatzalah. “They need to be able to wrap their minds around what was lost and they need assistance figuring out how to cope and where to go from here.”
Miriam Ballin a Huston native, leader of United Hatzalah’s Psychotrauma and Crisis Response Unit, is the one leading the mission.
“I am happy to be given the opportunity to head back to my hometown and help during this time of crisis,” she stated.
Ballin propped her team to “provide rapid response psychological first aid and trauma support.”
“From one ‘lone star state’ to another,” she stated, “we will be there for you.”
As long as you’re a member of “TheTribe” Israel
sends it’s aide for you but if you’re a Goyim, well it
must suck being you.
This is an outrage and a punch in the face of all
those non-tribe victims of hurricane Harvey who
have had their hard earned tax dollars sent over to
the criminal State of Israel to keep it propped up.
We send billions of dollars to that nation and they
have the audacity to send a pittance to aide the
“Jewish community” only.
This truly does expose the true nature and heart of
the nation of Israel. It’s always all about them and
nobody else.
