You are obviously not old enough to remember the administrations of President Carter or President Clinton, both of whom did not play ball with the neocon agenda ( that appears to have started with Nixon, President Eisenhower was our last true republican in the WhoreHouse). President Carter was run out of office by the misnamed “religious right” who put him into office, and when he wouldn’t jack them off they wrecked his chances of re-election in the polls.
President Clinton made the mistake of unding much of the damage done to the working man during reagans trickle up poverty wage lowering depression, and as a result the rest of the government ( no doubt doing big brothers bidding) kept looking under rocks until they found something. A blow job, of all things. As absurd as that was, all it took was a slanted media to make it stick.
They are doing the same exact thing to President Trump they did to President Clinton, for the same reason. Neither of them played ball with the power brokers and bucked their tethers.
The only difference is that now, the public has become wiser and more hardened to the whole fake morality thing, and could care less what kind of extra curricular activities Presidents take part in. After all, in a country that the media tries to pretend that being queer is normal, it is kind of hard to make any act of sexual deviation be alarming enough that it can bring down a politician. So they are trying to paint President Trump as someone who cohorts with our supposed enemies. Which our politicians have always done anyway.
I have always been a political moderate and intelligent enough not to jump on anyones bandwagon, I have been registered as both a democrat and republican ( Although I am still more of a conservative democrat, the democrat party has defected from democrats and become a party of something far different than democrat ideals).
